Meliodas has gone through a lot, the Holy War, being framed, losing Liz, so much. He has a very unhealthy habit of bottling everything up, and hiding whenever something is wrong. Anytime someone thinks he's sad, he brushes it off. That was until one faithful day, when he broke and told his best friend, Ban, everything.

"Cap'n, can we talk? Alone." Ban asks.

"Huh? Oh, sure." Meliodas replies, standing up.

Ban walks out the door, Meliodas following close behind. Ban stops when they're far enough from the tavern.

"What did you want to talk about, Ban?" Meliodas asks his friend, who turned to look at him.

"Do you trust us?" Ban asks.

"What?"

"Do you trust us?"

"Of course I do- Why are you asking that?"

"You don't tell us anything. Every time you're sad, you brush it off."

"Ban, I do trust you, I just don't want to worry you."

"Well you are worrying me! I don't want you to bottle up everything, so please.. Just tell me what's wrong. I want to be there for you like you're there for everybody else."

Meliodas stays silent. After a long silence, Ban notices tears streaming down Meliodas's cheeks, causing him to gently hug him. Meliodas sobbed into his friend's shoulder while telling him everything on his mind. Ban listened to everything, and was comforting his friend the whole time. Once Meliodas's crying died down, he looked up at Ban.

"Thank you, Ban. I needed that."

"You can talk to me when you need, Cap'n. You're welcome."
