A sudden voice interrupted my beautiful sound sleep.
Luna as always, my alarm.
"

C'mon Eve we are gonna be late "

I let out a groan. I was NOT in the mood of going to any class today, I wanna sleep the shit outta me.

But as expected, got dressed and finally took myself to the great hall. I had no plans for today, maybe just hanging out Luna and doing homework or I should spend time with Neville in the greenhouse.

In a distance there was a beef going on between Harry and Seamus. I don't want to interfere between them.

My first class was of defence against the dark arts. That new teacher didn't look like a person I would ever want as a teacher but let's see what is going to happen.

I took my seat in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, I felt many things with a sense of unease. Dolores Umbridge stood at the front, her saccharine smile sending shivers down my spine. Her frilly pink attire clashed with the severity of her gaze, and the ornate quill she held seemed more like a weapon than a teaching tool.

I took a seat next to Ginny
I settled into my seat in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, exchanging an anxious glance with Ginny Weasley. Dolores Umbridge's sickly sweet demeanor made my skin crawl, and her insistence on theory over practical defense was maddening.

Ginny leaned over, her voice a low whisper. "Can you believe this? Practical spells are what we need right now, not more theory."

I nodded, frustration building within me. "You're absolutely right. It's like she's purposely keeping us unprepared."

As Umbridge prattled on, Ginny's eyes narrowed. "I bet Harry won't let this slide. He's not one to back down."

I smirked, a spark of admiration for Harry igniting within me. "Oh, I have no doubt about that. He won't take this lying down."

When Harry's hand shot up, Ginny and I exchanged a knowing look.

His question was bold, and Umbridge's response was infuriating. I could feel Ginny's anger radiating off her as she muttered under her breath.

As the decree was announced, Ginny's eyes widened in disbelief. "Detention? This is outrageous!"

I leaned in closer, my voice determined. "We can't let her get away with this. We'll support Harry, make sure he knows he's not alone."

Ginny's lips curved into a fierce grin. "Absolutely. We'll show her that we're not going to be silenced."

Harry's gaze met mine, his eyes silently pleading for support. I nodded imperceptibly, my determination mirrored in his resolute expression. We were in this together, facing not only the impending threat of Voldemort but also the suffocating control of Umbridge.

As Umbridge walked away, that same determination burned in both our eyes. The class continued, but Ginny and I shared a sense of camaraderie, united by our defiance against the oppressive regime. We knew that we had to stand up, not just for ourselves, but for the entire wizarding world facing the growing threat of darkness.

I don't think the wizarding world will last long now.

I was walking down the hallway when I saw Draco frantically looking for someone.
" So who are you looking for Mr. Malfoy?"

" There you are Evara. I was looking for you since ages." He said with a bright smile on his face.

" Hi Malfoy " Luna greeted with her usual kindness
Draco greeted her too, that was some unusual kindness.

" Hey, Luna has this cool muggle thing which can take our pictures! In which we move. It costs galleons but she has it! "

" Oh so can she take a picture of us? "

" You mean you and me? "
" Who else Eve "

" So now you call me Eve? Are you in love with me? " I chuckled

" Sort of, now c'mon "
We stood next to the wall with our smiles on our faces, our hands held in each other's and a satisfying chuckle.
And when the photo was about to be clicked, I quickly gave Draco a cheek kiss.
And the results were incredible
The picture has me kissing Draco on the cheek, and him look surprised.

" You are so corny, Eve"
" I am appropriate level corny " I replied
" A walk to the lake? If you are free"
" Sure! "

" Guys, I am here too but I guess I should give you some alone time. " Luna shyly interrupted
Be both blushed at her remark.

I instantly started running
" Race to the lake! " I yelled

I may be chaotic but some things are just what makes me myself. Being super clumsy and chaotic is what makes me feel myself, even though those are not things to brag about.

I finally took a breath near the lake when I finally stopped running.
He lunged on me from the back and gave me a big hug.
I love him
There is no lie in it.
I actually love him.

We sat near the lake and talked about our families

" I hate my mother, she doesn't care about me" I complained

" It's the opposite for me, I love my mom more than my father, but I will do everything to make him feel proud "

We were laying down on the bank of the lake, with each other's hands.

Looking up to the pink sky, just talking about something we love.

" Did you mean it? " He asked
" I meant what? "

" That I love you. Did you mean it? "

" I did " I replied in almost an instant
" I love you and I am not taking my words back "

It was late now, the sun was setting down and I knew we can't go past the curfew.
" Let's go back to our dorms "
" Yea sure "
We both got up and I asked him for one last hug.
" Clingy much? Eve " he shrieked
" Shut up and hug me already "
A big warm hug is all what you need for a good day.
I gathered myself up and went back to tell Luna every single detail of what happened. Because why not!
