Dreams

Friday 8 a.m. I put on my clothes and eat breakfast. To my suprise my parents are there when I'm in the house. It made my day even better knowing they would be there for my graduation also. I grabbed my backpack along with my suitcase and took it to the car. I couldn't wait to leave school as soon as I graduated! I still had a limp on my foot but I'll be okay.

My parents dropped me off at school and said they would come back just in time for graduation. I saw Moriah at the entrance and waved.

"Hey!!!" We squealed together.

"Omg, I'm super excited!!!! Omg guess what???" I said excitingly.

"What???" Moriah said with her big eyes ready to know.

"I met this guy I ran into yesterday at the park. He was very, well sweet and he gave me his number." I said smiling big. Her smile was big, " what's his name?! Don't just tell me that and not give me his name?"
She said laughing.

"Jon, Jon white." I said proudly.

"Well from the looks of it, I think he is white? " She laughed nonstop.

"Haha very funny and FYI he is white, but that doesn't matter. It's about his heart." I said touching my heart on my chest.

"Since when did you care about the heart?" She frowned at me.

"Shut up! Let's go inside." We went to our first period, then second and so on. After school finishes we go to our classrooms were assigned and start getting dressed for our graduation, luckily Moriah is in the same class.

"Ayo girlfriend. You ready?"

"Ready as ill ever be." I said sarcastically. We went inside the auditorium and it's pretty big if I say so myself. It looks like the UFO in downtown Dallas but in the middle it's a bit bigger. Big enough for the chairs for us to sit at. I was 2 rows behind from the stage. All the school was there, band, choir parents, students. It felt great to end the school year. I spotted my mum right behind us In the back, back. I waved at her and she waved back with my father. Suprised my dad was here, he usually don't like big crowds. But then I spotted someone familiar there, it was Jon! He looked so cute standing there beside the entrance with his white v-neck shirt and slacks. He smiled and waved. I smiled and waved back also but I got my phone out and texted him.

"How did you know I was here?"

"I kinda put a tracking thing in your car, but I took it out now."

I laughed and grinned at him, Moriah was looking where I was looking.

"That's him? Woah he's hot." She said laughing. "Jacob can't top that for sure." She said hysterically. I laughed with her.

"You know what, I'm breaking up with him right now through text. The old fashion way." I said taking out my phone.

"Jacob I think we should move on to someone new since we're graduating and won't see each other for a while. It's for the best." I turned off my phone because the principal was starting to talk.

"Well its been a long journey....." I tuned out of course. I kept on looking at Jon he was just irresistible to look at. The way his hair flowed, his sparkling eyes. But then the principal was calling our row so I had to go to the stage.

"Moriah St.patterson" Everyone clapped really loud. It sounded like a bunch of Thunder bolts crashing down. She gave a speech was about 2 minutes long. My phone was vibrating a lot in my pocket

"Lilly St.Clair." I smiled and took my diploma and walked limping across the stage.

I see my mum clapping and crying with my dad comforting her on the side. I looked at Jon, he was clapping whistling really loud.
I was nervous giving a speech but I took a deep breathe,

"Im not really good with speeches." I laughed nervously. "To be honest I'm sweating right now, like I don't know what to say." I bit my lip. "I would like to thank the teachers that made this happen for all of us. If we didn't have them, where would be? This, this opens doors for us. College, funds, scholarships it's all.....because they taught us what we needed to know. And I'm thankful for that. I really am. Someone once told me that he had a dream of what he wanted to do when he was older. But then he told me he 'Decided to go to a different direction'. I had a dream to......I pictured a life with a person i loved ,that I thought he would be the one..accepts my dream to become a singer.....but.......he's not." I looked at Jacob and he looked at me. He turned really red like if he was mad. "He wanted me to become the way he wanted me to become but I don't want that. I want someone who accepts me for who I am, what I choose, or what I do......I love to sing." I shrugged and chuckled a little.I looked at Jon. His eyes were sparkling more then ever. He put his hands in his pockets and looked down. I could see he was grinning. I laughed and cried a little. Moriah was crying as well. "I think I just decided to go a different direction in life now." I said smiling. Moriah clapped so loud that everyone else did to.

I walked down the stairs and sat down on my seat. Everyone pat my back and clapped, smiled. It was all over 30 min later.
I walked towards the entrance so I could find Jon but someone grabbed my wrist and twisted it back.
