Levity Stands (Pull Of Gravity: Book 1)

Chapter 11

Dipper's POV(Levity Stands):

We were back at the Mystery Shack when the weirdest thing happened, while Gideon was ranting on and on about how confused he was and Pacifica and Mabel trying to calm him down, I could have sworn I saw Wendy. "Mabel, I think it's time we should go back home, or at least try to. I miss home." They stopped talking and looked at me, "Well what do you expect to do? You got here from a portal with your Bill, we could call our Bill, I mean after all he was here at the tea party." Gideon said.

"I do not trust Bill. He took away my cuteness Gideon, MY CUTENESS!" Mabel said throwing her arms everywhere. "Our Bill helped Gideon. If anything he'd make you more cute." Pacifica said. That was not important, but I did not get a chance to speak. "More cute? Not possible." Mabel said. Before she said more, I decided to cut in, "Well it is worth a try."

Mabel put her sweater over her face and mumbled,"Nope. Not worth a try." I pulled the sweater down, "I'm pretty sure it's worth a try." Then something hit me, something that I just remembered. "Stupid, Stupid, STUPID!" I shouted. "We left Bill and Gideon all alone in Gravity Falls. They could be doing anything. Mabel listen, stop being selfish and try to listen!"

Her face began to tear up, "No I didn't mean it that way. Listen!" She ran out the room and Pacifica followed. "Not cool." Gideon said going after them, leaving me alone in the room.

I would have ran after them, but something told me not to do it. I sat on what would have been my bed in Gravity Falls, but is Gideon's here. I looked through the Journal and realized, Gideon must have a book. I mean he liked mystery Hunting, but I mean I kind of figured he had the Journal, but I didn't know what happened to it. I heard knocks and voices downstairs. Familiar voices, my voice- Dipper Gleeful, Wendy's voice, Deuces's voice, but I also heard Stan's voice. I ran downstairs.

"Hey Dude! Did you know, you and Mabel have a triplet?" That was not Deuce. That was SOOS AND WENDY AND STAN, oh and Dipper talking to both Gideon's. Why were they here?! "How did you get here?" I asked. "I know I tried to kill ya'll and all, but Bill took over Gravity Falls and as cliche as it might sound. Ya'll are our only hope." My Gideon said. I didn't believe him, Grunkle Stan saw that and replied, "Kid, he is not lying." "Nope." Wendy added. Why would Stan lie?

Dipper looked guilty, "While I am here, I wanted to say I kinda have your Journal. I may have gotten it while you were under my spell." He handed it to Gideon Pines. And there was the Journal. "Gotta run. See ya, have fun defeatin' Bill and what not!" He rushed out. I realized he wasn't any better than me in awkward situations, although gotta hand it to him. He made it look much easier.

Mabel and Pacifica looked at each other and then at me. I looked down, "So how do we get home?" I tried to break the silence. "That's where I come in and hey kid you hurt my feelings, I am not evil!" I turned to see the Bill I faced before, once again tearful. Mabel shrugged. "Well, wheres your part of the deal?" he looked at Stan. "You know he's fine. Portal." Stan said firmly. "Don't be rude!" He said crying and creating the portal.

"I don't want to leave." Mabel said. "Bill has Waddles!" Wendy said. "Well, he could get Dipper too." she said. "I'm sorry! Mabel I love you, you know that! But try to be sensible." She didn't look at me. "I'll go, but not for him" She pointed at me. I sighed.

We went through the portal as we said our goodbyes and entered. When we got back home, maybe we shouldn't have left, because as of right now it looked like Bill had just fried Gravity Falls and it would not taste delicious. "Ready?" I said looking at Mabel. She just turned away.

"A few things first dudes." Soos said. "Yea, Bill kind of brainwashed everyone." Wendy added. Well then, this just got harder. "We need to stick together and find a way to defeat him." My words.

"Well I mean, we could have used my amulet, but someone destroyed it. Wasn't it ya'll?!" Gideon said. "Well, okay kids. I haven't been totally honest with you this whole summer as I told you during the Zombie attack, this place is weird and well I think Bill's weakness is silver." I looked at Stan. "What?!" I said. "I had a weird dream about Bill and he said to buy gold and maybe if he wants gold his weakness is silver." Oh yea, Bill in his mind. "Or that's stupid and ya'll crazy! He is a mind demon! He has no power in our realm unless he uses his staff!"Gideon yelled. That made more sense.

"Okay dudes, I got a plan!" Soos said. "Yea?" I said. "Sorry, I just really wanted to say that." Okay...

"I know what it is like there. The people line up to bow to Bill at around midnight and then we could, ya'll could, I don't know." I didn't even. I couldn't blame Gideon.

"Let's get some sleep dudes. Who ever wants to stay up make a plan and keep watch it's fine. I'm sleeping." Wendy said. Stan and Gideon nodded to each other as a sign that they would.

I lay next to Mabel but she turned away, so instead of falling asleep with relief, I fell asleep knowing our town was on fire and my twin sister hated me.
