As soon as Jason left, after spending some time with his niece, something I fully understood and allowed, once the police officer and the social worked has left, I began working on some lunch for my family. While I made lunch Adam spent the time in the backyard keeping Tracy busy with a silly game, though to be fair I really don't think Tracy needed any help in keeping busy, much like Sam she was easily capable in making her own games. In this case it looked like she was doing her level best to keep Adam off balance and constantly chasing her. I found myself smiling as I watched them while putting the finishing touches on lunch. Once I was done, I stepped out onto the back patio with a tray which I'd placed our lunches on.
"Tracy, Adam, I think I have something which you two will both appreciate." I said as I stepped out of the house.
Tracy stopped in her tracks, which allowed Adam to finally catch up with her and pick her up. "Food?!" Was her exclamation before she let out a slight yelping noise as she was picked up.
"Got you!" Adam cheered before he made his way towards where I was standing, though he did appear to be panting for breath before he looked to me, "I don't think I'll ever understand where kids get all of their energy, I mean if we could bottle this energy, we'd never need to work again..." He stated with a tired looking smile.
I found myself chuckling, "Still feeling a bit ragged after last night?" I queried.
He nodded placing Tracy down back on her paws before grabbing one of the sandwiches which I'd made. "Last night was perhaps the most intense night I've ever experienced." He paused to take a bite and make and appreciative noise. "It was like you were insatiable." He finished after swallowing. "I sure as hell couldn't keep up."
I nodded in reply, "I do think the fact that I was in my Heat cycle probably had something to do with it." I stated while I took a moment to think about how I truly felt about the experience. I could blindly state that I was something that I'd not normally do. After all I was born as a male, and quite happy that way, but how I felt about the experience lent a lie to that statement. I'd enjoyed every moment of it and in a way, I could feel that given the chance I'd do it again.
"Martin...?" I heard Adam ask, "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked, I could hear the concern in his voice.
I smiled and nodded. "Yes, I am fine Adam, I'm just trying to wrap my brain around last night." I told him before I explained what I'd been thinking. "I mean I think my brain has... changed to suit this new body." I finished with.
"Well, that would make a lot of sense Martin." He replied with a nod. "After all, everything else about you has changed why wouldn't your brain?"
I found myself nodding slightly in agreement. It did make a whole lot of sense when you got down to it. Otherwise, I'd probably have had a lot worse time getting used to this body if my brain hadn't adapted to it structurally when everything else was changing. What I wasn't quite as prepared for were the slight psychological adjustments that appear to have come along with my new fur coat. As a human male I'd never had a problem with other people being from one the multitude of other sexualities out there. However, while I didn't have a problem with any of them, I didn't feel that I was a member of their community since I was only attracted to females, and conventionally attractive ones at that. Now, though things had changed drastically since, as far as I'd been able to experience thus far my attractions had broadened and I could view both males and females as sexually attractive.
"Martin are you sure you're okay?" Adam asked again as I once more was standing still as I contemplated these things.
"Yeah, just some pretty heavy thoughts Adam." I replied before continuing. "Adam you're a pretty normal guy, you want female companionship. Am I right?"
