Previously on Secrets of Sulphur Springs: A New Generation:
"I think Auntie Melody is a Superhuman."
"No more going to the basement! Understood?"
"Do we have...POWERS!?"
Its a sunny, Monday morning with a normal family, having a wonderful breakfast that dad has cooked up and everything is going totally fine!
But that's not the family you're getting today, so buckle up!
Nick jump-scares everyone in the dining room by teleporting from his room.
"Morning, fam." He says to light up the mood.
"Nick what did we say about using your powers?" Griffin says"
"Sorry, I forgot." He replies.
"Well, you better not forget when we're in school! Imagine what would happen if I were to run 15 laps across the gym in 2 seconds. We can't risk exposing our secrets." Khloe put out.
"Secrets?" Griffin said with one eyebrow lifted.
"Spill it." Liam commented.
The two kids look at each other before saying...
"Not it!"
With one sibling teleporting elsewhere with his waffles, and the other speeds out of the room faster than you can read this sentence. (breaking the 4th wall over here 🤭)
We then turn over to Harper, who's currently zoning out into space.
"Earth to Harper!" Zoey says interrupting Harper's "free time".
"What's up, Zoey?" Harper said putting down her plate of untouched waffles and patting a empty spot next to her. They both now sat in the middle of the Family room.
"No, Nothing. Just wanted to thank you for letting me crash in. Especially after everything that happened yesterday." Zoey thanked her.
"No- problem..." Harper said dryly.
"What's on your mind, my fellow Dunnbell member." Zoey said in result of Harper's smile.
"I... kind of feel like it's my fault. The whole...power situation. I mean I felt a presence back in the Tremont and my senses just went off. My eyes felt like I was...shooting lasers, like the time i-" Harper cut herself off remembering that Zoey was memory wiped after the time she laser beamed the ghost.
"Never-mind that last part...now back to what I was saying, I just felt...weird the entire time. Like strength was being taken away from me. And that supports Liam and Melody's whole explanation that I somehow gave my family powers because of that stressful situation. And-... sorry you don't even care." Harper stopped talking.
"Well, that was... a-lot, but I understand you." She said before embracing Harper with a (well needed) hug.
"Thanks, Zozo."
"Anytime!" Zoey happily replied before getting her bag.
"Welp, I need to get going. I'll be picking up a known person griffin might be happy to see!
See ya on Wednesday!" Zoey said as Harper slightly waved at her.
Harper then looked at the cold waffle before getting up to do something she's been waiting to do for a while...
