light'heart's Prophecy (a fan-made warrior cats book)

~Chapter 1~

"Hey!" A toms voice shouted from outside the nursery, waking both darkkit and lightkit up from their slumber. lightkit tilted her head, when she recognized the tom as slatepaw, she let out an annoyed groan as her sister eagerly got up to talk to the apprentice.

"Hey there slatepaw! what are you doing?"Her sister squeaked while walking over to the tom, stopping once infront of him.

"nothing much, just wondering if you and sunkit- oh sorry"He snickered, saying her fathers kit name on purpose. "lightkit-" he corrected himself, a smug look still on his face as he saw lightkit glaring at him."- want to come share some fresh'kill with me and clawpaw."the tom finished, waiting for darkkits answer.

"oh uh sure! let me go get-""no need"Darkkit was cut off by her sisters hiss. The darker she-kit looked over to her sister, flicking lightkit with her tail once she saw the glare on her sisters face as she looked at slatepaw."stop it! it was an honest mistake"Darkkit mewed, only for lightkit to turn her glare to her."wow, are you serious right now!? it was obviously on purpose, did you see his face-""he would never and you know it!"Darkkit interrupted her sister harshly, shoving her with a paw to shut her up. Lightkit opened her maw to say something, but decided it wasn't worth her time.

"now, about sharing fresh-kill with me and clawpaw"slatepaw mewed, ignoring the sisters argument."of course we will-""i think i lost my appetite"Lightkit huffed, walking away, deciding to give softberry a visit.

"oh well, I will still join you and clawpaw!" Darkkit mewed quickly, padding off with slatepaw towards clawpaw, who already was eating a vole.

"stupid sister, stupid pelt, stupid slatepaw, stupid dad!"Lightkit hissed, looking at her paws as she entered the medicine den."oh hello there lightkit, thorn stuck in your paw? belly ache?" he suggested causes for her to be in the medicine den."no, i just need to cool off" she mewed, sitting next to the white tom, who had a sorrowful look on his face when he looked down at her

"slatepaw again?' He mewed, wrapping his tail around the creamish kit, trying to give her comfort. ever since the night of the prophecy, misttail didn't care for the kit considering she had her fathers pelt.

"it's not fair! everyone thinks i'm gonna grow and kill a cat! but i would never!" She hissed, tears flowing down her fur as she leaned on softberry, who only hummed in response."no cat likes me, everyone looks down on me! even cinderstar! my own leader!" She mewed, now full on sobbing into the white fur."i-i don't know how to prove to them i will be a good warrior"She mewed, her sobbing slowed down to little sniffles.

"how about you stay in the medicine den tonight, how does that sound? " He offered. "y-yea, sounds g-good" She mumbled, looking up to softberry."good, but for now, you can help me sort some herbs" He mewed, to which lightkit simply nodded.

After a while, her and softberry finished sorting herbs, only then did they notice it had grown dark out. "hm, we should sleep, come on" he mewed, gently tapping her with his tail, letting the she-kit follow him to his nest. he settled down and then let lightkit snuggle up next to him, letting her enjoy the warmth she got from him rather than her own mother. "goodnight lightkit" softberry mewed, curling his tail around her. "goodnight softberry" Lightkit mewed back, drifting into a deep slumber. Softberry sighed, laying his head on his paws, he wanted to ask if she wanted to be his apprentice, but knew she would say no, she wanted to be a warrior, no matter what. He felt his thoughts slip away as darkness surrounded him, letting him fall asleep.

Whooo, first chapter done, this is my first book sooo it may be somewhat bad or not well written, but i'm pretty confident in how i wrote this chapter!<3
