Rimuru noticed something off about her brother, he always compared her again and again with his dead lover
Coming from
"You know.. Ysabelle would never forget not to put sugar in my coffee"
Or
"Be more like Ysabelle Rimuru-san, she doesnt wear to much classy outfits, it doesn't suit you"

Day after day, her elder brother would always find an excuse to compare her to his dead lover other known as Ysabelle..

Rimuru's mood would always go down after Ivaraj would compare her, although none of her memories came back, she always seeked refuge in her friend's arms rather than her own brother's.

Then, until one night they had an argument, Ivaraj yet again compared Rimuru to Ysabelle while he sat down and drank his tea saying

"You know, Rimuru... Ysabelle always remembered to serve me blue ternette tea, but you served me black tea"..

Until Rimuru snapped

" I am not Ysabelle Ivaraj! She was long gone from this world long time ago! "

Rimuru said with tears in her eyes throwing the tray of strawberry cake to the ground, showing Ivaraj with her arm that Ysabelle was there

"Ysabelle is long gone from this world so stop conparing me to her! Do you know how much it hurts to hear those words coming out from your mouth whenever you compare me to her!?"

"Right from my own brother!? "

Rimuru said tears streaming down her face, visible in her eyes the pain of always being left out because whenver she tried to vent her problems Ysabelle would always be in the topic..

"Rimuru! You're causing a scene. Right now.. Now what would they say when they find the mess you just made!? "

Ivaraj retorted

"No, no, no! It's not that..Cant you see my own feelings rather than your own!?I am your flesh and blood for goodness sake! ""

Rimuru said breaking down, as she kneeled on the grass clenching her chest where where heart was

"Ysabelle is dead! She got killed by Feldway..do you not remember!?you were there..! "

"Ysabelle is not dead! She right here! "

He said pointing at his heart with slight tears in his eyes

"If she's there then where am I!?Where am I and the people that love you and wants to love you stand!?"

Rimuru said with pain in her eyes tears streaming down her face..
Ivaraj was left speechless not knowing what to say, befor ehe could say anything else

Rimuru teleported in her house with her friends worrying for her, especially Shuna

"Lady Rimuru! Is something wrong? "
Shuna said holding Rimuru while wipinf her tears, escorting her to her room

-TIME SKIP-
days have passed and neither Ivaraj or Rimuru talked to eah other, or even tried to at least...

Rimuru distracted herself to her duties. While Ivaraj drowned himself in regret of his inability to notice Rimuru's pain when he as her own flesh and blood was suppose to comfort her in her darkest times..

But no, he comapred her again and again leaving her in the pitch of darkness and tears.
Now he was in her place, drowning himself in the darkness swallowed by tears, pain, and regret..
