NATSU'S POV
I ran to the kitchen and stopped short of the pantry. Frantically, I practically ripped the door off it's hinges and started raiding the pantry. "DONT WE HAVE ANY GOOD FOOD?!" I yelled out in rage as I threw a box of cereal on the floor and crossed my arms over my chest loosely. Great, just great. Lucy would be home in another half hour and I had nothing at all. I was such a failure. I grabbed a phone and dialed Lucy's number.. Just to see how she was doing back at the guild.
"Hey" I heard a girls voice on the other line.
"Oh, Hey Lucy! Uhh I was just calling to ask when you think you'd be home...?" I paused and played with the bottom of my shirt in my hands.
"Oh Natsu! I should be there any minute now! The girls let me go early. See you!" And with that, the phone hung up and the ringing was all I heard. My fist squeezed around the phone and I paced. I wrote a note and taped it to the door, then grabbed my coat and rushed out.
