Part 16 x

It's been about 15 minutes since I've been out on the monitors and IV. The doctors come back every 5 minutes to check on my improvements which are going as they want which is amazing. But they're concerned about how her health will do because she's only 36 weeks along. But it should be okay right? Jadens been by my side since we got here. But now I've got to get up and dressed into a hospital gown. Fun right? No. It's painful.

Jaden helps me up off the bed after I sit up. It's so painful, how do people do this? It hurts.

"God I never want to do this again" I say making him chuckle.

"You won't have to for a long time yet, don't worry" he says still chuckling a little.

He takes me over to the bathroom with my iv thingy and sets the gown and the socks on the counter, and then stops for a minute.

"Need any help? Because if you need any I'll help or I'll get a nurse?" He asks gently. I think for a second but I make up my mind.

"Can you help me? Please?" I politely ask, I'm afraid he won't want to tho.

"Ofcourse" he says walking over to me and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

He helps me get dressed into the gown and we walk out and he holds the back so I don't flash anyone or him. He then helps me sit on the bed and get comfy.

A few minutes later I scream in agony with how much power the contractions I'm having are, jaden shoots up and holds my hand and rubs my back, helping me through it. These back rubs are the thing!! They're so good.

The nurses and doctors come in and ask me a few questions as I still am in agony. The lay me down and start to examine me.

"Alright Miss Richards, you're at a full 10cm of dilation, you are ready to start pushing!" The doctor says smiling at me.

They nurses prop my legs up and jaden holds one leg and holds my hand with the other.

Another nurse comes the other side and holds my other leg.

"Alright Miss Richards when you feel the need to push I want you to push okay? As hard as you can okay?" He tells me and I nod.

About another minute later I need to push so I give all my might and push as hard as I can. Then stop after a few minutes.

"Very good emersyn! Keep them coming" the nurse next to me says keeping a cold flannel on my head as I'm burning up like crazy.

"You got this em! I'm so proud of you!" I heard jaden say as he kisses my hand gently, we aren't even together and he's still the nice boy I met those months ago. But we just don't belong together.

I scream in agony as I begin to push again.

"Aaaugghh, when is this over??" I scream in pain as the burning sensation is horrible, I feel like someone's burning me from the inside out.

"Almost there miss richards, a few more pushes and you'll have a baby, the heads almost out" he says assuring me.

Jaden leans down and whispers in my ear "I'm so proud of you emersyn, I'll always love you. Remember that, but right now keep pushing for our baby. Okay?" He says and I nod with tears rolling down my face which he wipes away.

He mouths. "You got this" and smiles which I return but mine looking a little more painful.

"Alright another big push and the babies head will be out" the doctor says, I begin to push again and then feel the burning stop.

"Babies head is out!!" The doctor says making me smile like a maniac.

"Our baby girl is almost here!" Jaden says looking at me?

"I can't wait to see her" I say letting a few sobs out. I honestly cannot wait to meet my baby.

"Alright emersyn, give us a few more pushes and she'll be here" the doctor says and I nod.

About a minute later the room is full of powerful screams coming from the newborn baby, my baby.

The doctor lifts her up and places her on my chest.

"Hi baby, hi honey. Oh she's so tinyyy." I say sobbing as my baby girl cries on my chest, covered in blood and vernix but I'm honestly not bothered, I'm just happy she's here.

I look up at jaden and see him crying too, I've never seen him cry so much. He looks happy but sad at the same time, i don't know it's hard to describe.

"She's really here" he says softly as he watches the doctors wipe her down on my chest. The doctors then turn to jaden.

"Mr hossler, would you like to cut the cord?" He asks jaden to which he nods.

"I'd love to, thankyou!" He says politely the goes down to cut the cord making the baby cry at the sudden change. The doctors then take her away to be measured and weighed. Which then the room goes silent as the baby is getting used to the room temperature but still letting out little whimpers.

"6pound 5ounces! And 18.2 inches!!

They then bring her back to me in a blanket and a hat. They've put her diaper on and everything so she won't make a mess everywhere if she does need to go.

The doctors then clean me up of all blood and stuff, I didn't tear which is good!! Wouldn't want to go through that recovery to be honest.

After a few minutes I start to feel a little better just really tired, I turn to jaden and ask.

"Do you mind holding her while I get some sleep? You can put her in the cot thingy if you'd like to get some sleep too?" I ask.

"I'm not tired so I'll just hold her, is that okay?"he asks politely. Bless.

"Yeah yeah Ofcourse go ahead" I say handing the baby to him before getting comfy and drifting off to sleep in seconds.
