As I made my way into the classroom, I felt as if someone was following me. My instincts were right. There he was, standing right in front of me.
Kaiden Baylor.
Never ever in a million years did I think he would ever talk to me. Ever. I stood there in shock. His mouth began to move, but I heard nothing for a second. I was just staring at his natural beauty. I shook myself back to reality. He continued to speak.
"Hey I noticed you looking at me and I was looking at you." My thoughts were running, shit he probably thought I was looking at him, but I was looking at Matthew.
Of course I would look at Kaiden, but I was way out of his league he was hot and I was not. Why would he be talking to me?
I gained the courage to say something, "Hey oh really? Ahaha." I smiled. I turn around and saw his whole class and his group of friends looking our way, even Matthew.
The bell was about to ring, so he said, "I'll catch you later." Then he walked outside my classroom and at that very second, everyone in my classroom, all eyes on me as I was beginning to blush.
I could not believe my eyes. Me, Shannon Alexander? Out of all people. I never even thought he knew who I was.
Hmm. Maybe the ones you don't notice as much, notice you.
School ended and all my friends rushed over to me and asked what happened.
Sammy explained it to most of them because she saw everything from the back. She told me as I was walking she was following me from behind and Kaiden cut her in the door and followed me. Sammy said she was confused until she saw what he was doing.
When I went out to the halls everyone was talking about it, like the word spread fast even though it just happened. People were coming up asking me about him and whatnot. I didn't know what to respond back because I, myself, was still in shock.
I went to my locker, there he was standing off to the side. I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw him staring, I smiled to myself and went over to my friends.
I never felt so happy on a school day. This was surreal, I could not believe it.
