The Unexpected

It was the weekend, I was just chilling on my porch browsing the internet. I did that for about 40 minutes until I got a call. Celyn ❤️.

"Hey Lyn! Whats up?" I answer. Hi Shane, want to go to the beach with me?" She asked. "Yeah of course! Where you at right now?" I got up. "Parker Street right now." She said. "Aight gonna get my stuff real quick see you in a bit!" I walked back into my house. "Kk." She ended the call.

She got here in an instant and walked into my home, "I'm here! I'm gonna grab and few snacks for us ok." She yelled. "Yeah, theres a bag hanging on the door!" I was changing fast.

Celyn and I are best friends for life she is like family in this house. I walked out of my room and popped on some shades over my head.

"We ready to go?" I picked up my stuff and grabbed my keys. "Yup!" She got the snacks and walked out to her car as I was locking the door.

"So which beach?" She asked. I looked at her like we obviously the one and only, our second home. "Is that even a question?" She laughed. "I knew you would have that sort of remark!" We backed out of the parkway and hit the road.

This beach was only 30 minutes away from us, it was Santa Cruz. We loved it so much there. We basically went every week or even more.

After awhile we finally got the beach. We got our stuff out the trunk and started walking.

Once we got to the beach we laid out our stuff. I took out my phone and started snapchatting the view. I sent it to my story. I also took a picture and sent it to Kaiden. He responded really fast with a selfie saying, "Where you?"
I said, "Santa Cruz" taking a picture of the view again. "Really? Nice I love Santa Cruz. I'm in San Diego right now!" He said. "Yeah and omg lucky." I sent him another picture. He didn't opened the snapchat, so I put my phone away and started to hang out with Lyn.

I feel like Kaiden and I both really liked the beach a lot and just that type of vibe.

It was such a nice day out to be at the beach. Lyn and I went in the ocean, tanned, walked around, played with the sand, and just chilled. It was nice.

It has been 4 hours since we have got here. We decided to gather our things and walk around the boardwalk. Lyn wanted to play games so we did, after we both got really hungry so we went into one of this local simple restaurant we always visit when coming to Santa Cruz.

We got seated right away and ordered our food. As we were waiting we were both on our phone. I turned on my data and checked my notifications. I had 3 snapchats from Kaiden, 20 messages from a bunch of friends. I went on snapchat first, but before I checked Kaiden's snapchat I went on my story and sent all my failed story's that didn't go through yet. I refreshed my page and I checked who viewed my story, Kaiden was the first to see them. It made me blush, a lot.

I opened his snapchats. One of them was of him"You swimming?", next one was "We should go to the beach together next time!" I smiled. Last one was him and his siblings. It was cute. I sent him back a snapchat of the diner place I was at, "Yeah I was earlier! We gotta come here together soon!(:" Our food was coming, Lyn and I both put our phones down. We started to eat and after we were to head back home.
