The Unexpected

It was a school day again, gross. I of course did not want to be here, hell no.

Classes were going by quick thank god, it was almost about to be lunch. The bell rang. I went to my locker and met up with Lyn there, we went to the cafeteria, and as we were walking there Kaiden said, "Shannon I love you!" While he winked at me, all I did was smile big at him and blushed.

So Lyn and I got our lunch and walked around until we settled in one spot talking and eating. Then all of a sudden, I hear someone running towards me really fast.

Kaiden.

So he ran up an up to Lyn and I.
"Hey what are you guys doing." He asked while his friend walks next to him, Naren.
I knew him. Only because he tried talking to me, but I was always distant. Like he was a cool guy, but how he first made his introduction to me was lightweight creepy. He seemed very sweet though, but I guesses i showed no interest.

"Hey aha nothing much to be honest." I said.
"Oh yeah Lyn this Kaiden and Kaiden this is Lyn." I introduced them to rach other. "Hii!" she said.
"Oh yeah, this my cousin Naren." "Sure." I laughed because I knew they were not cousins, plus they did not even look alike.

I pretended that I did not know him at the moment, but we both knew we did.

"I'm Shannon." I said while shaking his hand. "Naren." He spoke and he waved at Lyn.

Kaiden began to speak, "Did you guys go to prom? " Lyn and I looked at each other and laughed. "No, but we were just talking about it." Lyn and I smiled.
"Really? Haha well if I could have gone I would have taken you."Kaiden said and looked me in the eye. My heart sunk, I turned hella red like a fucking tomato, I felt my face burning. I said, "Really?" While smiling at him. He shook his head and smiled.
"What's your nationality? He asked.
"Filipino, Mexican, and White." I said, but right after I said Filipino he was like no way I'm filipino too. Naren said, Damn you cut her off, she was speaking dude!" We all laughed except Kaiden. "Bruh I heard her." He looked at Naren. "She also said Mexican and White, right?" He said looking at me. "Yes!" I laughed. "But really you're filipino?" I asked. "Hell yeah." He laughed as well. "Naren aren't you Filipino too?" He asked him sarcastically. Naren said, "No nigga." Then we all just bursted laughing.
"I'll catch you later Shannon." Kaiden winked at me and waved to Lyn. "Alright see ya later." I smiled while waving. "Bye guys!" Naren said while making a peace sign.

OH MY GOD. Lyn and I were fangirling. She was fangirling with me. I could not believe it. I was so happy. We did not really talk because we had food between our teeth. I cannot believe he would have taken me to prom. What is life right now. I'm literally shaking. He was walking back to his table group. Lyn and I were just standing in the middle of the halls talking, while our group of friends joined us.

"Hey guys!" We both said. "SHANNON!" Sammy said. "Girl I saw that." I smiled. "Yes AHHH." I laughed. We all just started talking. And when our group of friends left to go to the group next to us, it was just Sammy and Lyn standing with me. We just communicated. While we were talking, I was explaining something to them and after I said it I walked to the group next to us.

Apparently, Lyn said. "Dude right when you left Kaiden was right behind you!"
"What?!" I said aw fuck.

Him and Naren started walking around my group for awhile, I didn't make it obvious that I noticed. Then after awhile, I looked up and saw them both looking my way, I waved at them and they continued walking around our group, which was kinda strange because that never happened.

The lunch bell was about to ring so I think that is why Kaiden was just waiting there because we walked to class together. I felt pretty bad because I took my time with out even noticing why he was there in the first place. He was walking right in front of me. I didn't know whether to go to him or not because I needed to go to my locker.

After I went to my locker, I turned around and he was looking at me. I smiled to myself and began walking.
"Hey." He said. "Hi." I laughed. "Where's your class at?"
"Down this hallway."
"Alright I'll walk with you." He looked at me and locked out arms together.
"I'm fine with that." I smiled at him.

We got outside my class and we just talked for a few minutes I was standing with my back against the wall. It was nice, after a couple minutes I spoke, "You should head to class, I don't want you to be late." I side hugged him. "Alright see ya in a bit." He rubbed my back while we hugged.

After this period I usually go to my locker and he waits for me at the bench near my locker and we usually walk to our last class together since have it next to each other.

It was now almost time for 6th period. I walked to my locker. I didn't see him any where. I got my stuff from my locker talked to a few friends, I still didn't see him. I didn't want to be late to class I started walking. As I reached the hallway my class was in I heard my name. It was unexpected since the bell already rang and I was definitely late to class.

"Shannon!" I knew that voice, it was him.
