It scares me sometimes
These scenes that show up in my mind
Like a twisted dream
A sweet memory I never want to let go of
Or an old film
People find me sweet and nice
But I beg to differ
As I stare at the ceiling
With these twisted thoughts
Although I do have happy thoughts
I like to go back in time
And try to figure out when my mind went haywire
In the end
I hope these thoughts
Don't overpower my good intentions
I don't think I could forgive myself if they did
