=========================

Jake's at Home with Margot and her parents, her siblings still aren't able to make it but as soon as they can, their coming over, Margot was right about one thing though, Since Jake made that interview where he opened up about his time spent in the Care system, her brothers and father are a lot nicer to him, not that they beat him up or were cruel to him before, it's just they don't make little jabs, no banter or anything, Jake's not sure how to feel about it, part of him is thinking that their treating him like a victim, which he doesn't want because he isn't, Jake's turned that pain he suffered then and put it into football, it's character building to him.

Doug: ... Can I see it now?

Jake looked to his soon to be father-in-law while Arno sat between them on the couch, their just watching the Football channel while Margot went over the plans for the wedding with her mother, neither of them wanted anything to do with that, too much stress and thinking, instead Doug has been wanting to see Jake's Super Bowl ring for the longest time but each time their together, the Super Bowl ring is elsewhere, except now.

Jake: Sure, let's go.

Doug smiled as they all got up and made their way out the living room and towards the stairs, Margot and her mother, Sarie, have the dining table completely covered by point to point with all different wedding things, both Doug and Jake stopped on the bottom steps to take a look, Doug's done all this before, Jake hasn't and it's a little overwhelming, he's just looking at it, it's why Margot was happy for him to sit out, she knew he'd just get worried and panic over it, it sounds dumb that an NFL Quarterback, who's known for keeping his cool can panic over something like this but it's two different scenarios.

Doug: Sure you want to go through with it?

Doug is messing with Jake and he chuckled, Jake didn't though and without even a second thought replied with "Of course", Doug liked that even if he was just busting the guys balls, it showed how much he did actually care about his daughter, Jake continued towards the ring, heading upstairs where Arno is waiting, he's gotten really clingy with Margot lately, turns out dogs have this sixth sense when a baby's on their way, or two of them.

Jake: Uh, can you give me a second?

Doug was a head of Jake but Jake caught Anne in her room sitting on her bed looking at her phone, he just wanted to make sure she was okay, Doug understood that and nodded, leaving the guy to do what he has to do, so with a small knock at the door, he leant on the doorframe catching her attention making her give a small smile to him.

Jake: Hey, you okay?

Anne nodded to him, Jake wasn't sure though since she didn't look okay, he knows Margot told him to stay out of it but he just wants them to be happy, who knows what Jake would have been able to do had he been able to talk about his problems way before he felt like he could, things might have ended up a lot different for him, he also knows it's not a good idea to keep things bottled up, he hasn't been happier since talking about what he went through.

Jake: Can I just give you a little advice from a guys side?

Anne looked to him and figured "why the hell not?", it wouldn't hurt beside's she has no reason to believe that Jake is going to give her bad advice, for a guy who gets hit really hard for a living he's actually pretty smart, not book smart but people smart, he can tell if someones an asshole before even meeting them, it's pretty funny because Margot hates going to ceremony's and stuff with him because she'll try to introduce him to someone and he'd just say "Nope" and walk away, Anne would pay to see that.
