... Jake loves his job, he loves his life and the family he's come to gain from it, his mother, father, sister and now fiance, all of them are behind him and the team as they head into the new season, actually being ranked as one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl this year, the Chiefs, 49ers and believe it or no, the Baltimore Ravens have a good shot this year as well.

Robert: Alright, settle down. We got work to do...

Everyone's in the planning room, taking their seats, Jake's sitting a few rows up and was ready to get back into football, he was only distracted when Duncan patted his shoulder sitting next to him, the room filled with the players and coaches while Robert Saleh stood at the base of the room, looking to the team that can bring the New York Jets to Super Bowl glory.

Robert: ... Starting with Last Season. That didn't even how we wanted but we need to build on that, learn from our mistakes and turn them into strengths...

Jake and the others listened as their defense wasn't all that great last season, Jake tried his best to out score them but he's only one man and can only do so much, he needs a team to back him up behind him, he hasn't got that, sure you got Duncan who allowed the least sacks last season then anyone else but he too can only do so much, when they don't click as a team, they don't click as Champions.

Robert: ... Speaking of strengths. A few of you have come to me with with concerns with leadership in the squad. So today we'll be picking a new team Captain...

That of course caused a little bit of a stir, of course last season was a shambolic one and a change is needed but to think that some of them went to the higher power about the Captain was a tough pill to swallow, if Jake has a problem with another player, he takes it to them, not the coach.

Robert: ... We're going to be doing this though, a little differently. You all have pens and paper, write your choice for Captain, the man with the most votes, will lead the team this season. Staff too.

Jake liked that idea, normally they pick the Captain but this time the players are getting a say, this could determine the change they need this season because this way the squad will have picked the leader, not been giving one, so everyone did what they had to do, Jake chose Duncan as the Captain, he was the first person that came to mind and that said to him that he'd be the best choice, Jake then handed his choice over, it took a second for Robert and a couple of other coaches to count the votes, it was actually a little intense.
