(After some major writers block, I finally finished this oneshot for Miraicia)

Grace didn't like working with people. She preferred to do everything solo, as she did her best work that way. Unfortunately, that minor preference she had always seemed to rub people in the wrong way.

"G-Grace! Can you wait for me, please?" Eloise cried out to her.

"You're moving too slow. I don't have time to wait around."

"Wolfgang said that we had to search together."

"Who says I'm obliged to listen to him?"

It kind of irked Grace how quickly he rose to power. Everyone just started listening to him and it hasn't changed ever since. Was it because he was a lawyer or was it simply just because he was the oldest?

"If you decide to move faster. I'll be in the next room." Grace stated before leaving Eloise alone.

She wasn't going to let somebody she met mere days ago boss her around. She might agree with him at times but she wasn't just going to blindly follow orders like this.

"I know we haven't found much today, but don't worry. The more we search the closer we are to finding a way out of here." Wolfgang declared concluding the meeting he held.

To no one's surprise, not a single piece of evidence was found during their search. Did anyone really think they would really get out of here that easily?

"You're all excused."

Everyone simultaneously got up to leave in hope for rest after such a long day. Well, everyone except Grace. There was one thing keeping her from leaving.

"Except you. Ms. Madison, I would like to have a word with you."

"What do you want?"

"When we were exploring earlier, I came across Ms. Taulner searching all by herself. I asked her where you were and she told me you ditched her."

So she had been caught. What did he plan to do about it?

"Yeah, I left her alone. We weren't making any progress searching together."

"And did you make any more progress searching by yourself?"

...no. No she didn't, but it was just the first day. If he gave her a few more days she would have made much more progress.

"I see what your answer is." Wolfgang observed.

"I really don't see how it's a big deal."

"Ms. Madison, you can't just leave someone—especially Eloise—on her own like that!"

"We were holding each other back!"

"Well since you like doing things alone so much why don't you do the dishes all by yourself."

Grace froze up and slowly turned her head to the large pile of dirty dishes in the sink trying their best not to topple over. 16 people was hard to feed and the mess they left behind was even harder to clean after.

"Wait a minute, let's talk about this." She hesitantly responded.

"There's nothing to talk about. Your bad actions have bad consequences."

"Who says I have to do what you say?"

Wolfgang cleared his throat as he seemed to search for an answer. However, it didn't matter what managed to conjure up. There was nothing he could say that would make her wash those dishes.
