Taylor was hosting a dinner party for your birthday it was a tradition ever since you two had begun dating two years ago. By now all your friends and family acted like you were a married couple, but you werent even engaged yet. Because you couldnt seem to find the right moment to do it. So you figured tonight at your party it wouldn't be expected it would be a huge surprise to everyone because in Taylor's words 'birthdays are about you and nobody else' and that is how she always treated them friends and family alike were treated like royalty by her on birthdays and you loved that among many other things about her too. She was perfect to you in everyway and you got to see her in ways most people didnt which made her all the more beautiful inside and out.

---At The Dinner Party---

You sat across from Taylor with a smile. She wanted you and her at each end of the table. She smiles a bit shyly in return and everyone else around you is chatting. Family and friends surround you both yet somehow when your eyes met it felt like you were the only two in the room. You wink at her and her cheeks flush instantly with color this makes you chuckle quietly. Oh how much you loved this girl she had no idea.

You enjoy the dinner and the small cherished gifts the kind you prefered. You hum and look around to ensure everyone had finished. You give out the proper hugs and big thank yous happy with everything you received.

"I have a gift for you Taylor" You state and this catches her and everyone else off guard. You smirk a bit and leave your seat before you walk to her. You pull out her chair "My love" You say before taking out a red velvet box and kneeling before her. Everyone around you gasps in awe at the sudden twist many taking out phones to record the somewhat magical moment.

You get on your knee and open the box before you take her hand. "Taylor Swift, My adorable cat loving music making girl. I see my future with you my forever.. I've waited so long for the perfect moment to do this.. A moment you wouldn't expect and today I knew was the right time. I love you so much more then words could ever explain. Will you marry me?" You ask.

People squeal and chant but you remain focused on her. She tears up and nods her face bright with color hands covering her face as she squeaks out "Yes!" Everyone screams happily and you steal her hand to put the ring in its rightful place before she cups your cheeks and you two share a rather sweet kiss. You smile against her and share a sweet 'i love you' between loving kisses. People talk around you about how you finally did this but you don't care. You couldn't have been any happier.
