"Just one more push, Regina." Dr.Whale instructed.
Regina leaned her head back into the pillows. Tears streamed from her eyes and beads of sweat formed on her forehead. She wasn't expecting labor to be this painful. She had really doubted her strength and pain tolerance.
"Relax, take a breath." Robin soothed, "You can do this Regina."
Regina nodded, though fear still laced her eyes. She took a large breath, and exhaled. Tightly, she gripped Robin's hand, took a breath, and pushed one last time.
It was excruciating to say the least. Of all the physical, mental, and emotional pain combined, it could not compare to this. A sudden relief hit Regina moments later. She sunk into the pillows, panting heavily.
"It's a healthy baby girl." Whale announced.
Regina raised her head to see the little infant who had just been placed on her chest.
"Hi," she smiled softly with tears. "Hi Reagan."
Robin kneeled beside the bed. All misty-eyed, he gently traced a finger down her little nose. The little princess was already asleep, her little hand curled around a lock of Regina's hair.
"You're so beautiful Regina." He said, kissing her forehead.
She was always beautiful, but now having given birth to his daughter, she couldn't have been more beautiful. Laying there, red faced and sweaty with their daughter on her chest, she was the most beautiful she had ever been.
"What for her middle name?" Robin wondered curiously. They had decided on the name Reagan for a little girl.
"Elizabeth."
"Reagan Elizabeth Locksley. I like the sound of that." He smiled.
Regina returned the smile, kissing their daughter's soft little head. Emma came in a moment later with Henry and Roland.
"Congratulations." She smiled.
"Thank you Emma, for everything. We wouldn't have had her if it wasn't for you."
"I told you I would help you get your happy ending." She shrugged with a smile.
Emma smiled again, and said goodbye to Henry, allowing them all time to spend together.
"Henry, Roland, this is your sister, Reagan."
