Elijah with stiles in his arms bridal style stopped behind Severus as they came upon his door. 

"Old friend I'm truly sorry to hear all of this has happened since I last saw you guys. Should I have known I would have been around more to help you and your wife. Your both like family to me. And I promise you with my life that I will protect my soul mate.", Elijah spoke up as they slowly entered the plain white room that was filled with boxes and a bed still unmade. 

"It's not your fault Elijah we had no idea someone would come after Hermione or our son. As to why they did we won't know until Damon and ric find out. I know Stefan may be out of somewhere looking for more information as this is their great neice we are taking about and I know they feel just as bad as you do", Severus said quietly as Elijah slowly put stiles down on the bed. A small whimper could be heard from him as he could feel that Elijah wasn't holding on to him anymore. 

Elijah sat down on the bed and held the boys hand and watched him softly snore as he calmed down from the touch. If he had know that his soul mate was near by all these years. He may have been happier then he was when thought Hailey was his soul mate. 

"Severus I do hope we can figure something out and I do hope that no more harm come to you are him" Elijah finally spoke to Severus as he was slowly leaving the room so that his son and his dear friend could have their space.

Meanwhile in London

"Ron will you calm down. Honestly it was a mistake and you know our son hes just as hot head as I am", Draco spoke to his husband as his husband rushed to pack up as much as he could for his travels. He needsd to be with his boy badly. 

"It's not that. It's the fact we should have been there for him to help him process all of this and not only that how well ldo you think my sister is going to take it finding out that her daughter is our sons soul mate. Yes yes I know it's not wrong in the wizarding world but still. Not only that mione is making progress she needs her friends and her family my love", Ron was now reasoning with his blonde hair husband. 

"You such a muttonhead when it comes to our boy. But I guess soon I'll understand why your so over protective of him and hopefully he'll be excited to hear hes going to be a big brother", draco now said as he rubbed is ever growing belly.
