Chapter 8: Ghostly Reunion and The Talk

Venoct stood there with tears still falling from his eyes. As he was staring at his family and old friends, who were just spirits or ghosts now.

"Mom, dad, everyone?" Venoct asked cautiously, hoping it was not a dream.

"Venoct, my sweet boy, thanks to you stopping Rubeus J once and for all, our spirits are freed from his grasp. That said, we do not have much time left, but we all want to say thank you and me and your father have and will always love you." the spirit who looked like Venoct's mom said to Venoct with tears in her eyes.

"She's right, son, I'm very proud of you too." The spirit that looked like Venoct's father said with a grateful smile. The rest of the spirits that looked like Venoct's old friends have a thumbs up to Venoct as a 'thank you' sign as they began ascending fully into the afterlife.

"Looks like it's our time to go." Venoct's mother said. She thought that they had a little more time, but they guess it flew by.

"WAIT!" Venoct shouted. His ghostly mother and father looked at him in confusion as Venoct continued, "Before you go. Can I... please....have.... a last hug." Venoct begged.

Venoct's mother and father both smiled brightly, "of course Venoct" both said as Venoct rushed towards them and gave them a bear crushing hug. Venoct's mother and father hugged back tightly with love as theirbody's fully disappeared seconds later, fully ascending into the afterlife. Venoct stood there for a momentas he had a sudden realization.

"They loved me." Venoct for the first time in a long while gave a real smile. A smile from knowing that he was loved. Venoct looked up. "Thank you mom, dad, everyone, I know you are watching me from above now, and you will always be with me in my heart." Venoct said as he felt an immense Amount of pain spiral though him.

Crap, he had forgotten about his injuries from the battle that could have killed him. With that said, he decided to walk all the way to the Blasters House instead of trying to teleport or flying.

3 hours of walking later...

Venoct finally arrived at the blasters building as he slowly opened the door at the front entrance, since hewas still too injured to fly at the moment. He went inside as he closed the door behind him and began makinghis way upstairs to the command floor.As soon as he got to the command floor, he was greeted by a bone crushing hug from Blizzaria who wascrying.

"Ithoughtyouweregonnadie! Meandtheotherswerewaitingforyou!" She continued sobbing. The rest of the Blasters rushed in and gave Venoct a big group hug.

"We missed you, nyan!" Jibanyan said happily crying that Venoct was back.

"You're back!" Was all the Koma brothers could say as they continued hugging Venoct.

"Welcome back, you scared the darn out of us." Usapyon said, while also happily crying.

"This sight is truly wholesome" Whisper was adoring the sight. The sight of the scene was enough for Sergeant Burly to shed a tear, which Blizzie caught him at it.

"Did you just shed a tear?" Blizzie said, shocked, as she has never seen Sergeant Burly show tears before. Whisper secretly took a picture with his Yo-kai pad.

"Only this time because this is beautiful!" Sergeant Burly shouted. He then whispered in Blizzie's ear, "donot tell anyone." Blizzie responded with an 'ok' emote from her hands as she continued watching the scene. Venoct though, he would normally get annoyed at this type of stuff, but this time he felt at peace. Venoct then hugged back, which shocked Sergeant Burly and Blizzie. They have never seen Venoct like this, normally he would just stand there doing nothing.
