Chapter 2: Issues

It's been a week since Alycia was comfortable being at her own complex. I never told Alycia that I had a word with the creep next door. I mean all I wanted was to make sure she was protected.

I couldn't let her stay at my house for at least three months. My family is dealing with business. It's only going to get chaotic.

"Y/n, look at you!!!" My cousin Selena says. Hugging me tight that I can barely breathe. Her father is my dads co boss. So there's definitely something going on in the business that isn't good. "Selena is the whole family coming?" I say very confused. She gulps. "I'm not supposed to say, but everyone involved in our dads business is coming apparently. There's something bad going on in the business some chops I guess, trying to sabotage the business." She says looking at me and at our family. I only sighed and looked at the ground. Only to look at my cousin with wides as to what she said. " how come your not in the business? I am and damn the money is crazy." She chuckles. "I don't need to, I have everything I need through my dad. And he'd never let me back in after you know, F-Freya." I look sad and wanted to tear up.

"Hey, I'm sorry, I know how much Freya meant to you." Selena says hugging me. "Yeh, I've got to get to school. I haven't gone in two days. My dad wanted me to make the entire house spotless for the guests." I say getting away from her embrace and headed up stairs to my room.

After I showered I grabbed some random ripped jeans from the drawer and a navy blue Ralph Lauren shirt. I realised I had black jeans on. And grabbed my blue and black Jordan's and put on a strong perfume. And some deodorant. Made sure my teeth were cleaned grabbed my backpack swung it to my shoulders and off I went to school on my motorcycle.

I really haven't been using my car, I feel more free at the moment with my motorcycle. Or maybe it's just to look like a baddie so nobody really messes with me.

As I got to campus I got looks and stares from everyone. I continued walking like I was alone in the hallways. Until I started looking for Alycia. She wasn't alone. "Y/n!!" She runs to me hugging me tight. I smiled into the hug. "Mhm." A voice behind her says. "Jenna?" I say excited. "Your with them? You know I don't like Riley." I say stern. "Look Riley is sorry for what she did to Alycia she left those bad influence losers. Plus I think she likes Alycia. Is why she was soo mean to her." She says hugging me as she told me in my ear. I've never felt my blood boil soo badly.

"Oh?" Is all I can say out of my lips. I was soo pissed. "Y/n? What do you think of Riley?" I looked at the green eyed woman in front of me. My eyes soften. "A bitch!" I say stern and with a serious face. All I saw from Alycia was a pale face at my comment. Then she takes my hand which caused my skin to feel all the electricity as our hands Inter whined.

I felt completely awkward around Riley, after what Jenna said I couldn't get it off my mind. I want Alycia I say. In my head so I thought I did. "What did you just say?" Riley says in a mad tone. Her eyes glued on me and Jenna with wide eyes, and I felt Alycia let go of my hand. I gulped and responded with. "What did I say out loud?" Pretending like I didn't know. "You said you want Alycia ?" Riley spoke. "Yeh? Do you like me y/n? Because I think I like someone else. I'm sorry, I-I jus-." I ran off before I got the chance to even let her finish. The words stuck to me. "I think I like someone else."

I had my class away from Alycia today she technically wasn't in it. I sat down and just didn't pay attention to pre-calculus. I ran out the door once class was over. And off I got on my motorcycle. Turned it on. Before I wasn't able to ride off I get scared by someone. "Riley, you scared me." I say in shock why she's even here talking to me. All I see is her grab me off my bike and punch me in the stomach. "Fight back loser!" She yells. "You need to stay away from Alycia she's mine! I will not let you win her over." She says now punching me on my left cheek. She kicked my leg sweeping me off my legs. And I felt hard concrete to my back and I weeped in pain. "Fight back y/n I thought the daughter of the cartel was stronger then this! No wonder your father doesn't want you in the business your a pathetic loser who got her girlfriend killed no wait didn't you kill her?" She says kicking me. My eyes went wide. I was mad, that I got myself up and punched Riley to the face breaking her nose and making her stumble to the ground on her butt. "I never killed Freya you know that. You know my story Riley don't fucking switch it just to get Alycia to like you instead of me." I say getting on my bike. "Hey my nose is bleeding I can't go home like this?" I didn't look back at her. "Figure it out yourself bitch! You came here for a fight you started it now you deal with that bloody nose." I say driving off to my house.

As I got there my cousin comes running and looking at my face all beat up. "Who did this because I will rip them apart." I laughed. "Yeh totally your a werewolf now? Too many werewolf movies Selena. I got it handled." I say laughing in pain. I got to my room and changed formally for the family and workers event. I grabbed a nice Ralph Lauren red polo shirt. Almost like a bright red. Did my hair a bit. And put make up on to cover all the bruises on my face. And headed down stairs.

I got pulled by Riley, Alycia and Jenna. Then I get pushed against a wall by Alycia she was mad. "Why did you hurt Riley? Huh? She said you came up to her and beat her up." I rolled my eyes and glared at Riley for a second only to see her smirking. As I looked back at Alycia. "Is that what she told you." I said with no emotion. "Yeah, and you've done harsh things. The reason I don't want to be with you or have anything to do with you. Is because your a murder. You murdered your girlfriend! Am I the next victim of yours. You lied to me that you were going to protect me!" She says yelling in my face. Jenna looked at me she knew I was holding back tears.

"Family event everyone inside now." I hear my dad yell. I got out of Alycia's embrace. "Take her home Jenna she can't be here. I don't want her hurt. This could get ugly. You need to go home to for your safety." Facing away from them. All I got was a yes from Jenna and off she went with Alycia.

Riley and I headed to the main room. And went to opposite directions in the room.

"Ok, so we have a threat, this threat is going all around taking us down by our weak points. They are coming for us all. By all means take care of your loved ones. These people are much more powerful then we thought. We are talking traffickers. They kidnap young women of some of daughters ages. We will not work with that. We are cartels not nasty criminals like the traffickers." My dad says worried I saw it in his eyes. "Nobody is safe we all work together as a family and as friends and allies. They need to be stopped. We fight until the end even if that means we lose someone in this room. Understood!!!" He says stern and fierce the big bad tough dad I got.

I haven't gone to school for days. Helping my brother with combat within all these allies. It went from teaching the cops, to my very scrawny cousins. I had to play it cool and say fight like mortal combats fucking gamer losers I swear .

It went to a Month of not going to school and I swear my professor might be failing me at this point. Just kidding I do all the work they give. After all it is very easy I learned every material I needed to know when being homeschooled.

I finally got a chance for myself, and I opened up Snapchat stories only for my heart to break into dozens of pieces.

Alycia started dating the Bitch of fucking Riley. I got a call from Jenna real quick. "Hey, I know you saw the story. Please calm down and don't do anything stupid." I hung up the phone and ran down stairs and off I went on my motorcycle full speed down the highway.

I ended up crashing and I called my brother. "I crashed the bike, please get it repaired by the shop in secret please. I don't want anyone knowing." I tell him. And he immediately came to me. "Dammmn. Y/n are you serious." I rolled my eyes. "I'm fine, just a bruise." I walk it off. Heading to his bike. "She's not worth it you know. She has those pretty eyes. But if she believes that bitch Riley over you then she's not worth it. You deserve better." Rasmeses says. "I don't care how much she hurts me. I don't want her with Riley. Riley will destroy her. She's toxic you know that." I say with a hurt tone. "You think she'll hurt her like she did me. When I was a scrawny guy." I nodded. "If my ex does hurt your lover, then be there for Alycia when she needs it most. Or if she trusts you enough or just a tiny bit. You know to talk about her relationship with bitch face then be there. Win her over with your kind heart y/n that pure heart that shouldn't even be in this mess of a life. You know dad and I want you to be safe and have a family one day. Not this cartel life." My brother says driving off to the house.

As we got home I went up stairs and took in what he said. And fell asleep.

I got woken up at 2am by 10 missed calls and 50 messages all from Alycia. I finally answered the phone. "We need to talk?" Is all she says. "We can later today." I say about to hang up. "I'm outside your house." She says yelling. I helped her up my window and she sat on my bed.

"Riley and I are having problems." She says.
