As Horror wandered through the dark and unwelcome expanse of Snowdin, holding his trusty axe on his back as he whistled.
"Going on a hunting trip!~" Horror sang as he continued walking.
"And when I'm back~" Horror continued singing.
"Everyone will have a good time-" Horror sang but immediately stopped walking and singing as he saw something, no. Someone that he wasn't expecting to be in front of him at all...
5 minutes earlier...
"HAHA!" Dust spoke as he impaled one of the monsters he swiftly grabbed the head of another monster that tried to run away, smashing it into the ground several times before impaling its head with a bone.
Now covered in both dust and blood, Dust stood up and sighed before turning to his left.
"That felt nice," Dust spoke as he wiped off the blood that was on his right cheek.
"To kill another monster?" Phantom Toriel spoke, materializing herself into Dust's thoughts as he floated next to him.
"Don't try to persuade me old lady," Dust spoke as he swung his arm to the left, causing Phantom Toriel to disappear as he was all alone yet again, or so he thought.
As Dust stopped in his tracks, he stood in front of something, no. Someone that he wasn't expecting to meet so early...
"You're..." Both spoke as they stared at each other in slight surprise.
"Right, I had almost forgotten I'm not the only Sans in this world, well... He seems quite weak, this should be an easy kill," Dust thought.
"...Who is this guy and why is he covered in..." Horror thought until he suddenly made the realization.
"...Bastard, I was supposed to get it first," Horror spoke as he looked at Dust who grinned, chuckling as the two stared at each other.
"First come first serve, sorry but you are a little too slow... you look like a crack-head... Quite literally," Dust spoke, taunting Horror.
"That's very rude you know?" Horror spoke as he took his axe off his back, holding it with his hand alone.
"I don't care," Dust spoke as he suddenly charged towards Horror, but despite not being as fast as Dust they were able to defend against Dust's attack in the nick of time, blocking their bone weapon with his axe as they struggled to hold them off.
"Looks like you can back up what you say!" Horror spoke as he pushed Dust away, swinging his axe towards Dust who was able to block the attack with his bone.
"Well let's see if you can back up yourself too," Dust spoke as he summoned a Gaster Blaster behind him, but just from the sound alone Horror was able to dodge the attack, moving out of the way seconds before it hit him.
As the beam of energy headed straight towards Dust, they were able to teleport away and behind Horror, grabbing their collar as they threw Horror to the ground.
But immediately after, Horror summoned four bones spikey bones, surrounding himself which was able to get Dust away.
"Your not as dumb as I thought you were," Dust said.
"I get that a lot," Horror spoke, smirking out of nervousness as they got up.
"And usually those who do end up becoming a head-dog," Horror spoke, gripping his axe as he charged towards Dust, but this time they were much faster.
"An amp?" Dust spoke in confusion as they were able to dodge the attack with their axe.
The second Dust dodged the attack Horror summoned a spikey bone behind them, but just as it was about to impale them they moved their head out of the way.
"Heh, what is that? You can sense things or something?" Horror said jokingly as he swung at Dust once more.
"Is that all you have in your arsenal?" Dust spoke as he dodged Horror's attack once more.
Dust suddenly grabbed Horror in the face as he then, with all his strength, threw Horror to the nearby trees of Snowdin with such force it was able to burn a part of the trees as Horror laid there, knocked out unconscious as a large burn mark was on his chest. But despite that, he still gripped tight on his axe.
"Amazing willpower... I could never achieve something like that," Dust spoke at the sight of such a thing happening.
"I'm quite jealous actually," Dust spoke as he walked over to Horror.
"You're telling me through one hand alone that I could never reach something like that?" Dust spoke, gritting his teeth before he quickly composed himself.
"No use sulking over someone lower than me, though you do have my respect... I'll let you live, but..."
"If you don't even have the power to beat me then you don't even have the power to protect others," Dust spoke, extending his right arm as he walked away in search of more monsters...
Somewhere in Snowdin...
Papyrus was making yet another grand puzzle for those who dare to try it.
This time he wanted to be more original and put more effort into it as some would say.
"Nyeh... just a bit more!" Papyrus spoke as he was almost done finishing his puzzle.
"There!" Papyrus spoke, getting up as he looked at his finished masterpiece.
And at the same time, there appeared to be a new visitor to see his new puzzle.
"Ah, Sans! You here!" Papyrus spoke as he turned around.
"Take a look at this brand new puzzle I've created!" Papyrus spoke as he showed the puzzle, however, Sans was silent, only walking towards Papyrus without a word.
"Sans?" Papyrus spoke in confusion.
"This'll hurt me a little bit," Dust spoke as he raised his right hand.
