DARK NIGHT II

In the depths of darkness, cold and stark,
I traverse, grasping the enigma; embarks,
On a journey, venturing far and wide,
Into the depths, where secrets reside.

What lies beyond this shroud of night?
For many, it ignites fear and fright,
A cloak of darkness veiling Earth's expanse,
Obscuring our vision, leaving us askance.

They say darkness holds a hidden grace,
A beauty felt by those in embrace,
Of its depths, where shadows play,
Reveling in the arrival of twilight's sway.

Let us dance through the veils of night,
And find solace in its elusive light,
For brightness alone does not define,
The wonders that in darkness align.

A fool neglects to hold affection,
For the night, so raven and perfection,
Open your senses, perceive and see,
The mysteries that lie beyond reality.
