She sat quietly during class while her teacher continued explaining how to solve for the alphabet. To the blind eye she was fully engaged in her class unlike her other classmates but, im reality she had airpods in. All she was doing was writing notes but her brain was elsewhere. So-li was thinking about how her twin brother owned her 20$ and she was gonna use that to her advantage.
DING DING!
The bell had rung, meaning it was lunch time. So-li contemplated going up to her brother but ultimately decide not to spare her and him some embarrassment infront of his friends. Instead So-li decided to go her favorite place, where no one could bother her. No one purposely bothered her, its not like she was getting bullied. She just liked the peace and quiet. To her escaping socializing was heaven. As you would expect she was the opposite of her twin, Sunoo. You could say he is the sun and she is the moon. Sunoo, was a nice extroverted boy who enjoyed people company and was always the sunshine of conversation. Where as So-li was more if the black cat and introverted and reserved type of gal.
As So-li sat down behind the school's greenhouse she admired the scenery, oh how she absolutely adored spring. Why? Because spring brought that fresh sent. Spring had lots of rainydays. uThe most important out of all reasons, the flowers bloomed.
She sat there listening to music while eating a small container of tteokkboki. 'DARARI' by treasure now playing in her airpods. While sitting they're peaceful she suddenly heard the grass rustling. Suddenly a voice spoke up,
"Can I sit here with you?" A girl spoke up.
"Sure" So-li said while scooting over to make room for the female
"What's your name?" The female asked
"Kim So-li"
"Nice to meet you, my name is Kang Haerin"
So-li simply smiled at haerin.
Haerin spoke up again, "Is there a reason you always sit out here?"
"Huh?"
"I mean I always see you sitting out here alone, so I wanted to sit with you," Haerin said.
"Oh uhm, I guess I just prefer it out here cause it's peaceful? I don't really know myself" So-li replied.
As so-li ate the remaining tteokkboki she had in her little container haerin gave her a bag of cookies.
"I made these last night, I had an extra bag so why not give them to you?" Haerin smiled
"Thank you, I'm sure they're delicious" So-li smiled back.
For the rest of lunch they had chatted lightly. It was so-li first friend she had made herself, if you don't include her twins friends.
As so-li made her way back to her classroom she heard someone yell her name.
"SOO-LII" Sunoo yelled while he was running
So-li just flinched as the boy yelled her name. Sunoo had finally catches up to his twin.
"Wait for me, okay? I don't wanna wake alone to class" Sunoo pouted
"Sorry Sun I had forgotten" So-li apologized
"You owe me a bag of chips" Sunoo stated.
So-li just sighed and she stared at her twin brother who was now talking to his friends, talk about "abandonment"
She quietly walked back to her seat as the class president, Jungwon, was walking up to her desk.
"good afternoon so-li" Jungwon said
"good afternoon jungwon" So-li replied
"I took a look at your club activities but you don't seem to have registered for any, the student council is highly enforcing people to join a club. I know you don't want to and I'm sorry to bother it's just they're making me do this as class president." Jungwon expressed
"It's okay jungwon" So-li replied with a smile.
"That being said I need you to join a club, it doesn't matter what club just do it in two weeks, the people who dont join a club by then will just have a boring study club with extra work for zero credit being enforced on them."
"Ah ok I see, thanks for telling me" So-li replied with her being a bit distracted already wondering what club she was going to join.
"Bye, ill see you around then" Jungwon smiled and bowed, then proceeded to leave.
So-li was left staring out the window of the class room as she wondered what club she was going to join, something she would end up discussing with her twin.
As the day passed by so-li had one thought on her mind, she was tired. She wasn't a top student but at the same time she was ahead. Staying up all night studying had payed off, it's not like she had something better to do.
As so-li laid her head on her desk she felt a tap on her shoulder.
"Sol, wake upp" Sunoo said as he tapped the girls shoulder. Turns out she didn't just lay her head down, but she had fallen asleep for a bit.
So-li lifts her head up and rubs her eyes.
"Coming sun, let me pack everything u--" she said as she looked down ay her desk shocked.
"I felt nice and did it for you, now cmonn your making me late for practice and you promised you'd watchh" Sunoo whined.
So-li stood up and she fixed her messing clothes. She followed sunoo down the schools corridor as she touched up her makeup a bit.
Sunoo had finally made it to his practice. So-li had always heard great praise about how his practice has so fun. What did they even practice? She didn't know.
Sunoo cheerfully entered the room greeting his friends while she stood behind him shyly.
"Sunoo hyung who is this pretty noona?" The youngest said
"This is my twin sister, niki" "So-li I hope you realize your gonna have to socialize and stop hiding behind me" Sunoo sighed while So-li stared at Sunoo blankly to the blind eye. However to Sunoo, he could see his twin was struggling.
"Ykw, ill introduce her to you all." Sunoo stated.
"This is my twin Kim So-li, she's quite shy so you may not know her much. The only person she knows here is Jungwon, because he's in our class. She'll just sit and watch" Sunoo introduced So-li
"Cool." One of sunoo's friends had said. As she didnt know which was which, expect jungwon she sat down in at the bleachers.
So-li watched as five others boys joined the already seven.
"Whose the girl?" One of the new five boys asked.
"Sunoo's hyungs twin" The youngest chimed in
"Wahh I should bring bahiyyih too" One of the guys said
"Alright guys let's practice" Jungwon said
