With the radio turned on, a great playlist compiled of favorite songs ready to be heard, A full gas tank, and a cooler of food and drinks, they left the city behind and set out on an adventure for the weekend.

But soon, the drive became a bit more interesting than they had originally planned. Somehow, they had taken the wrong turn. They had found themselves deep in the woods, driving along a small winding road, surrounded by dense forest. It seemed like they had been driving for hours on end until they reached a destination they had never heard of or seen before. It was an old but picturesque village at the end of the road, with houses lined up along the side of the street and a mysterious abandoned building in the distance. They had arrived in BlackWood.

Confused and scared, they decided to turn around and find their way back home. But just as they were about to drive away, they noticed something strange. All the people around them seemed to freeze in place, as if they were petrified. It was like time had suddenly stopped and everyone was stuck in the same moment. Liam and Emma tried to shake off the eerie feeling and hurried away, turning back around and quickly accelerating. But as they attempted to flee, they heard a loud siren echoing from the abandoned building in the distance. It filled the air with an ear-piercing sound and left Liam and Emma with a feeling that it was trying to notify them of something sinister.
As they drove away from the village, it seemed like a thick fog had taken hold of them, blocking their vision and making it hard to stay focused on the road. They were now more determined than ever to make it out of BlackWood unscathed. But little did they know of the mystery that was about to unfold before them.
