"And what about her?"

"Y- your majesty, I- I hate to admit this but your relationship with lady Diana would greatly impact our empire" The Baron said. I glared at him and sliced his tongue off with magic and choked him. "Looks like you lived a long life" I said and tossed him to the ground. "And what do you mean by 'our empire' , Don't forget who you are talking to" I warned them and slammed my fist on the table and it broke in half. All of them trembled in fear and are trying to calm me down.

"Y-y-your majesty, we were wrong, please s-stop" The count of Tedros said while kneeling down. I just ignored him and started getting more angry. "How dare they say to me right in my face that My Diana is not worthy" I thought to myself. I heard the door open and saw Felix coming in. "Deal with these dirty animals" I said as I walked out of the meeting room. I stopped at the door and said something.

"Cut the Baron's head and hang it up"

I was now outside feeling suffocated and I searched the castle for one person. I went to the garden and saw her. I halted by the sight, Diana picking flowers and making a bouquet out of it. Seeing her smile is already enough to drive me crazy. I walked up to her and hugged her from behind. I inhaled her scent and it's already making me calm. "Claude, you're here early, look what I made!" Diana said smiling widely and showing me the one she made. "How lovely" I said staring at her eyes and her facial expression before leaning over and kissing her gently. I ended it and looked at her once more and hugged her tight. "What's wrong?" She asked, hugging me back. I just shook my head and kissed the back of her hand.

"Claude" She said while her face is getting red. She avoided my gaze and I admired her looks. I just couldn't get enough. Her blushing face is too cute. I chuckled and suggested a walk over the gardens. She smiled and started talking about how she tried the berries from the chef and how she and Athy were eating some sweets. "And Athy was laughing at felix" she said going on and on. "Where is our daughter anyway?" I asked. "Oh it's her nap time already" She replied and I nodded as we went to the center of the garden and sat down.

I leaned into her shoulders and started playing with her fingers. She looked at me and kissed my forehead and I am starting to crave for her more and more each passing day. "How can my beloved be this beautiful. How lucky am I to be loved by you" I said staring at her and she started to get shy. "Claude, you're such a tease" She said hitting me playfully. I smiled and laid on her lap. She started singing a song and I started to feel drowsy. She kept playing with my hair and suddenly cupping my cheeks and saying 'I love you' . I was surprised when she said that but I said it back too.

"Oh How lucky I am to be part of her life"

After some time

"How did it end up like this" I thought to myself, massaging my temples. I was just sleeping earlier and now I have these big piles of papers in my office. I sighed and started to go to work. After a few minutes, I heard a knock on my door. I told them to come in and I saw Felix holding my daughter. I banged my hand to my desk and glared at Felix. "Why are you holding my daughter" I said glaring at him. "Your Majesty, I just thought that the lady might want to see you since she hasn't seen you since this morning" Felix said getting startled. I quickly relaxed my face and stared at Athanasia. "Is that so" I said getting happy inside. I told them to come closer and Felix gave Athanasia to me.

"My daughter seems to like gold seeing how you were staring at my chair" I said while still staring at my daughter. She got startled and looked at me trying to smile. "Athansia which one do you like more, Me or gold" I asked her. I didn't really expect her to talk since she is only a baby but seeing her reaction is very amusing. She pointed at me and got closer to hug me. I hugged her back and looked at her, "My daughter must be smart, You have good taste" I said patting her head.

"Your majesty, as much as I want you and the lady to have a good bonding together, you still have work to do" Felix said asking me to go back to my paper works. I sighed and looked at my daughter smiling and I looked at Felix pleading me to work. "Felix, 5 steps away" I said ignoring him. "Your majesty" Felix said in a sad tone.

The door swung wide revealing My Diana with her friend which is also my daughter's nanny, Lilian York. "Claude, you should listen to Felix sometimes and do your work" My love said in a loving tone. "Good Evening to the Sun of Obelia" Lily bowed greeting me and is holding a bottle of milk. She looked at Felix and greeted him as well and Felix looked flustered. "Disgusting" I said to my mind.

My Diana took Athy from me and sat in front of me. "Your majesty, You can't slack off okay?" She said trying to scold me. I just looked at her and avoided her gaze and huffed. "Claude come on, you can't just stop working" She said while frowning. I looked at her and said no. "Your majesty, Until you finish your work you cannot see me and your daughter" She said coldly. I looked back at her fast and stood up but she walked away with our daughter smiling happily. "Looks like I made her angry" I said to myself picking myself up and replaying what just happened. She shuts the door and I just stared not knowing what to do next.

I sat down and put my head on my desk and my thoughts were beginning to blank. "My beloved Diana is mad at ME?! not to Felix but ME?" I felt my head was starting to hurt and I fell down. "Y-your Majesty, Hang on tight" Felix said panicking. "How can that be. My entire world is mad at me. My sweetheart, my love, my hunny, my everything is angry at me" I said feeling like fainting.
