Athy's POV

I opened my eyes scanning through my surroundings and saw an unfamiliar room. "Where am I?!" I said panicking and started to get stressed. I was just reading a book and fell asleep and now I'm in a strange place. I moved around and saw a tiny hand. "What is this?" I said, I was getting shocked. "Oh is my lady awake now?" a strange woman said, holding me up and embracing me in her arms. I was confused until I saw all of my surroundings perfectly. The whole room is filled with gold. Golden chairs, golden crib, and golden toys. My eyes were sparkling and I started to drool.

"Are you hungry now my lady?" I looked through the woman that carried me and I was shocked because I recognized her face. "Where have I seen you?" I said wondering to myself where I saw this woman until the book that I was reading came to mind. "AH Lilian York?" I said looking at her again and solving the puzzle. "Don't tell me-" I thought until I heard the door open. I saw a beautiful woman who has a yellow-like golden hair walk through and go in my direction. 

"How are you my darling" she said grabbing me from Lilian. I widened my eyes and wondered who this woman was. "Is mommy that pretty that you keep staring at me like that?" she said pinching my cheek lightly. "Mommy?" I said looking at her again. She asked Lilian to bring me some food and I ate for the time being. "Athansia you're so cute" my so-called mom said cooing at the sight of me. "I knew it- I really got reincarnated in a novel story" I said feeling like crying. "But this is different, the story line from the book is very different from this" While I was in my own world thinking what to do someone grabbed me and carried me outside. "Athy, we are meeting your father for breakfast" My mom said kissing my cheek. 

I just accepted my fate that I'm gonna be here for the rest of my life. I never really had a real family since back in my world I had an alcoholic father and no mother. Having a family here is still very hard for me to adjust but I hope I will get used to this somehow. "We're here now" my mom said protecting my eyes from the sun. I saw a tall golden haired man walking towards us and kissing my mom's cheek. He looked at me and kissed my cheeks too. I grabbed his hair unconsciously seeing how it has the same color as the gold from my room. "It looks like my daughter loves to grab people's hair" the man said staring at my eyes.

I quickly let go and my mom laughed fixing the man's hair. "looks like our daughter really likes you, Claude" she said and the man held the back of her hand and kissed it. "Claude? Ahh Claude de Alger Obelia.. The tyrant emperor who mercilessly killed his biological daughter and now that I remember, his daughter's name is athanasia which is my name here. would that mean-" I looked up to him and he caught me staring and he just grinned. "Open wide athy" my mom said holding a spoon filled with chocolate cake. 

I was like in heaven, eating sweet foods like this is such a luxury. "If you eat too much, you will look like a pig" my father said and I glared at him. My mom scolded him and I laughed inside seeing how he deserved that.  I came to the conclusion that my dad is obsessed with my mom but of course he never forgets me and would always spoil me (thanks papa hehehe).  

I would always see them acting all lovely dovey and all that but I don't mind since I am getting used to it. Until a man called felix whispered something to my dad and had to leave. "Your father is a busy man but it's ok, we'll see him again later, let's take a walk shall we?" my mom said smiling at me.

After some time

"Hi princess, would you like to see his highness?" I woke up from the man talking to me. I adjusted my eyes and saw Felix standing beside my crib. I squirmed around and he picked me up and went our way to his office. "His highness would be happy if he saw you my lady" Felix said smiling at me tho I am happy to see him but I am still a little bit scared of him. 

We arrived in his office and Felix knocked on the door, we went in and I saw my dad working. "He looks like a statue and what's with the golden chair" I thought not knowing I was staring at the chair too hard. Felix dropped me in my father's arm and he continued to stare at me. "Looks like my daughter loves gold" My dad said to me. "N-no way" I thought about avoiding his gaze and he made me choose between him and gold. "Of course I would pick gold but you own it so I'm gonna pick you" I thought grinning to myself. 

My mom came with Lily and it looks like they're here to take me away. "I want to stay more with dad" I thought. Suddenly they were fighting and now I got really taken away from dad and I can't see him any more for some reason. "My daily supplies of sweets will be cut off short if this continues" I was crying inside because my dad is the only one who approves me eating sweets most of the time.  "Mama, see papa pwease" I said to my mom giving her my saddened face. "Athy, you'll see your father after he is done with his work" she said patting my head. "Don't worry he will be back tomorrow" she added smiling at me.

Hey guys! I didn't quite like this chapter because I just can't point out what's wrong with it and I cannot seem to know what to change so I decided I'll just stick with this. I try to update as fast as I can because soon enough I will be busy and have less time to write and I don't like for people to wait. But I will do my best in the next chapters.

I would also like it if you guys share your opinions on this. I hope you guys will continue to support me throughout this whole story.
