You walked through the dark bushes to your destination, your two bags swaying by your side. Making sure no one was watching you slipped through the cracks in the wired fence. It was a cold night like usual. Your boyfriend had kicked you out after finding his soulmate. Your friends wouldn't let you stay the night because it was Valentines day and they had plans with their other half. It filled you with rage knowing they couldn't even let you stay just this once. You knew they weren't good friends, but who does that? Allowing your friend in the streets because of a stupid holiday. You think it would be better to leave them anyway. Before you stepped into the house, you paused glancing down at your necklace bound to your neck. The shape of half a heart with a capital S in the middle. You have always felt alone because of this musty old piece of jewelry. You hoisted one of your bags up onto your back, letting the other swing on your shoulder. You were glad you could fit almost everything you own into your bags. Something told you not to get too much with him around anyway. Not that he would ever buy you anything. A bang came from your bag as you threw it into a window that was nearly above your height. You had to stretch your arms out to be able to touch the sill of it.
You let out a long sigh as your feet hit the ground after you struggled to get in. You only then noticed the tear in your jeans from the window. "Ah sh1#!!" You complained. You picked both your bags from the ground and started to move to the front of the building near the front exit. You opened the door from the inside as there was a key in the front desk draw that you found one day as you were exploring it. You sat down in the old chair in the closest room to the front door, it had a bed and a blocked up window with a small desk.
After a while of you being there and getting comfortable, you heard something from outside. You thought it would be just a animal as you found a lot of dead cats and rats here before. But then you heard a voice slowly up the steps in front of the building. "Is that a light?" It sounded like a man, definitely not a teenager. Thats when you panicked and turned off your light rushing to get your stuff that was already sprayed across your room by now. "Sh1# sh1* sh1%!!" You said in your mind, your heart pounding. You burst through your door, turning to the front door. Then a light came from your chest, green. It means your soulmate is in the room with you.
My soulmate, in the room. Right now! You were stunned, almost dropping the only things you had. "Hello?" You hear a male voice call out to you, then a light flashing into your eyes. You hid your necklace as your head quickly looked up. "Hi" you quietly said standing shyly. Your eyes gave into the light and you stuck a hand into the air shielding your eyes from the bright light. "Oh sorry" his voice said again. He dimmed the lights which allowed you to see him. "Are you ok? Do you need help?" A short blonde boy said his face plastered in shock and worry. "Yes I'm fine." You glanced down at his necklace, no light. "Seth! Seth come here!" He turned around calling out. "Hey I'm sorry but I'd rather not go to jail" you started to walk backwards. "No no no wait we aren't supposed to be here either" he calmingly said laughing a a bit. "Yeah whats- oh.." a tall boy with long dark hair stood beside the other. He looked... beautiful you might say. "Uhhh hi" you shyly greeted him waving.
"Hey I'm Josh and this is Seth" Josh the blonde boy pointed toward Seth who smiled at you. "I'm Y/N, sorry for interrupting your um" you paused looking toward the camera, "your video." They laughed a bit. "No no it's ok" Josh said reassuring you. "Are you um... homeless?" Seth asked sadly. "I got kicked out. Tonight actually" you looked down at the ground feeling ashamed. "That's horrible" Josh said sadly putting his camera down. "Do you need somewhere to stay?" Josh looked at Seth and his mouth dropped wide open. Seth noticed and turned to him obviously confused. "What?" He questioned his friend. "Your necklace!" Josh smiled at Seth. His necklace glowed a bright red. Indicating he was standing with his other half.
You stared at his necklace in disbelief. Your hands moved to your necklace and pulled its charm from being tucked under your shirt. It was glowing bright red. "You're my soulmate" Seth smiled at you, he was breath-taken. You stood no being able to speak a word. "I'm so lucky" he hugged you and you squeaked being surprised from the action. "Woah Seth you only met the poor lady calm down!" Josh peeled Seth off of you. You shivered, your body felt cold without him. "Sorry" he shyly said. "It's ok" you happily said. "Well lets come back here sometime else. We need to get you home" Seth suggested while putting his camera away. "Yeah of course" Josh agreed and started to walk out of the building. Seth stood in front of you, just admiring you. You started to blush under his stare. "Sorry you're just so beautiful" he averted his stare to something else, not wanting to make you uncomfortable.
"Thank you. I find you handsome too" you whispered the last part, not wanting to get even more embarrassed. "Sorry what was that?" He said politely, leaning closer. You got flustered seeing him come closer. "Nothing!" You said quickly avoiding his question. "Come on lovebirds!" Josh called. "Coming!" Seth yelled back, "sorry about that" he laughed. He sounded so pretty when he laughed. You had never met someone with a prettier one. "It's ok" you smiled at him. While you were walking beside him, it was now you admiring him. It was very late the moon was out making his hair shine and his eyes look bright. He almost looked enchanted or out of this world. He must have caught your staring because he turned to you. "Are you alright? Do I have something on my nose?" He tried to wipe nothing off of himself. "No!" You giggled at him. "You just look nice in the moonlight I guess" you smiled like a dumb teenager on their first date. "Oh um thank you" he sounded flattered. You both walked through the tall grass to the wired fence. "So um why'd you get kicked out?" Seth hesitantly asked as he helped you through the fence. "My boyfriend... well, ex found his soulmate and kicked me out" you explained not paying attention to what you were doing. Then your foot slipped on a branch. You lost your balance and fell letting out a huff. You realized you didn't fall onto the ground but into Seth's arms as they were wrapped around your shoulders.
Your eyes met with his as you stared into his moonlit eyes. "Sorry, stupid branch" you stood up straight putting your hands on his shoulders. He moved his hands to your waist. It took you a moment t'ill you realized what was happening. He was breath taking.
• Seth's pov •
She placed her hand in mine as I helped her through the sliver wired fence. Her hair glistened in the lighting as it fell perfectly around her face/shoulders. She kept her eyes locked with mine, making me nervous. I watched her as she talked about her awful ex boyfriend, I felt bad about how he treated her. Then she slipped over something, and fell straight in my chest. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders not wanting her to fall even more. Her hair swayed as she moved her head to look up at me, "Sorry, stupid branch" she hissed. I admired her for a moment. She was breath taking.
