A Gliding Mistake

   Aether and Amber sat next to the large statue of Barbatos, Paimon floated next to Aether as she chewed on the rest of her sticky honey toast that Amber offered the blonde traveler and his small floating friend. "Paimon thinks that was so delicious! Amber's promise really came through in the end!" Paimon exclaimed happily, a bright smile dawning on her face. Amber laughed and Aether chimed in with his own laughter. "I'm glad you liked it, I apologize that you had to wait for it so long, Painmon," Amber apologizes, cut off by Aether telling her that she didn't have to apologize.

   Amber gave a sheepish grin to Aether, and the blonde male smiled gently back, gently conveying that the outrider had no need to apologize. "Alright, well I have to get back to speak with Kaeya." Ather nods towards Amber before she sets off towards the Knights of Favonius' Headquarters to speak with Kaeya.

   Aether stands up with a stretch, straightening his posture and casting a glance at Paimon. "We have to speak to Venti about a commission I've accepted." Paimon gives a smile and nods her head, following after Aether, who jumps up onto the small stone railing and with ease, jumps off and opens his glider, heading towards his destination. Angel's Share, the well-known tavern in Mondstat, was a guaranteed location to find the bard, as he was indeed never ever in the same place for too long. 

   However, Aether never imagined what would happen next, never having actually experienced it before. A large eagle intersected Aether's path and collided with the blonde male. A yelp fell from Aether's lips as he plummeted towards the ground, closing his eyes and bracing for the collision the with hard stone path, but it never came. "Aether, you gotta be more careful," The bard's playful voice rang through the air.
