Barbatos in Sumeru?

   Lumine sighs gently, the traveler and her floating companion, Paimon, sat next to the river in the Sumeru rainforest, eating a lovely meal that Lumine had made out of the evasive Spinocrocodiles she'd fought off just moments before she had made the dish, her eyes dull and tired from her journey here in Sumeru. "You should really take a break, traveler," Paimon spoke gently, watching in concern as Lumine's eyes drooped before she snaps them open again. "You've been pretty tired with how many withering zones you've diminished, maybe you should take a break in the teapot or we could go and see Tighnari for some medicine." Paimon gently suggests, knowing that Lumine didn't care to take a break and she just wanted to continue her journey and find her brother. "Or maybe we could go visit Mondstat, I'm sure Venti would love to see you again," Paimon says gently, a small smile on her while a bright red blush erupts onto Lumine's cheeks, the blonde had spent quite a long time with Venti every time she hopped back to Mondstatm. He was the main reason she always found herself thinking about the city of freedom, as well as the sweet bard himself, While she knew the true identity of Venti, it hadn't really bothered her, being at least five hundred years old and being an outlander, a descender, someone who traveled from another world, someone who did not belong to this world.

   Paimon smiles with a small giggle, "Come on Lumine, what do you say? Once you're rested up, we can come back and continue our journey!" Despite Paimon's tries, Lumine refused which concerned and confused Paimon. "What? But you love going back to Mondstat to visit everyone." "Paimon quit that, I know you're trying to get me to take a break but these feelings for Venti have already expanded far greater than they were supposed to, I can't fall in love with anyone ever again. I cannot allow it, and to love an archon? As if he'd choose me, plus I can't give up on Aether, something is so off about him, I have to get my brother back. I need him to explain why he's doing what he's doing. We've never been apart for this long before... When I get him back, I'm not even sure he'll want to stay here in Teyvat, whether I have love or not." Lumine spoke, her voice becoming smaller and breaking when she was done speaking, tears brimming in her eyes. Paimon's head hung from Lumine's words. 

   Lumine closes her eyes and sighs, leaning her head back against a large rock, her brain racking to find an excuse to get Paimon away from her for a little bit. "Paimon, could you fly to Gandharva Ville and get some medicine from Tighnari for me?" The question was weird to Lumine but she could hear Paimon's smile when her flying companion responded happily in agreement before flying off. A sigh fell from Lumine's lips, she had a minute for herself.

   "Windblume!" Lumine's eyes shot open as she abruptly sat up, but she hadn't expected to see Venti descend to the ground from above her, he had large, feathery, white wings and his eyes glowed a bright and beautiful aqua, the tips of his braids glow as well. Lumine blinks, bewildered by not only the fact Venti was in front of her but also by the fact that he has wings. 'Is this his archon form?' Lumine asks herself before Venti's laugh drags her out of her own mind. "Wow, I've rendered the great Honorary Knight speechless? I'm flattered Traveler, I didn't think this would be your reaction to my archon form." Lumine blushes before shaking her shock off, "Nice wings, now, how did you find me?" A smile plays on Venti's lips, "The wind of course!" The bard exclaims happily as if the answer had been the most obvious thing ever, "As long as you're somewhere the wind can reach or graze you, I'll always be able to find you, Windblume!" A smile tugs at the corners of Lumine's lips. "Ah, of course," Venti smiles triumphantly, hands on his hips, "But I'll be honest, I flew through a rainstorm on my way here and those spores and leaves love to stick to anything soft, especially when it's wet." Lumine giggles at that before her next thought hits her ridiculously hard. "Why did you come to Sumeru so suddenly?" Venti brushes his wings off with a smile, a pout on his face when he struggles, flapping them roughly but to no avail. "It's been quite a while since you've visited Mondstat and I was missing you." A red blush erupts on his cheeks at his reasoning but she giggles as she gestures for Venti to sit in front of her which he eagerly agrees to, sitting down in front of Lumie, facing her, causing another giggle to fall from Lumine's lips. She spins her hand around in a motion to gesture the male to spin around, a look of confusion on the archon's face. Despite his confusion, he does as she tells him, and turns around, facing away from the woman. The blonde smiles softly, "I don't have any idea how sensitive these are but you wouldn't mind if I cleaned them up for you, would you?" Venti jumps slightly, taken aback by the question. "Uhm, alright."

   The two talked about whatever they could think of while Lumine gently ran her hands through Vent's wings, gently removing any debris from them that the rainforest had left in them whenever the archon had flown through the flora of the Sumeru rainforest. Soft hums and sighs of pleasure sound from Venti as he relaxes, adjusting with ease to Lumine's touch. "I'm not sure if it works in Sumeru the same way as in Mondstat, but lots of bird species in Mondstat use their wings to look bigger and stronger and to court themselves a mate and almost all of Mondstat's birds mate for life," Venti speaks softly, turning to face the blonde, spreading his wings out and fluffing them up, a shy smile playing on his lips. "Would you say yes?" Lumine smiles and nods, "Of course, I would Venti." Venti bounces in his spot excitedly, pulling Lumine into his lap in a flash, faster than the traveler can even process it. Lumine giggles and loops her arms around his neck, while his wrapped around her waist. Venti presses a soft and gentle kiss to Lumine's lips, Lumine leans into the gesture, responding in kind to the kiss. Venti pulls away gently after he broke the kiss, a beaming smile on his face, "If I was a bird, would you choose me?" A giggle sounded from Lumine, "Every time, Barbatos." A heavy red blush painted Venti's cheeks, Lumine covered her mouth and gave Venti a shy smile, "Ah, I'm so sorry Venti, I didn't mean-" "Say it again." Lumine raises an eyebrow in question, Venti frowns gently and puts a hand on her cheek, using his thumb to gently caress it. "My name, say it again, please?" A devious smile graces Lumine's lips and a teasing tune slips into her voice, "Barbatos~" Lumine coos, a soft and teasing tone laces her words like silk and honey, Barbatos lets out a shaky hum in response, his grip on Lumine's hips tightening. Lumine giggles, pressing a kiss to Venti's neck. "Barbatos, my love~" A purr resonates from Venti's chest, a beaming smile gracing Lumine's lips. "I have a whole city that worships me, yet the only one who could ever make me  this way and could ever make my name sound so gorgeous is you, my lovely Windblume." A gentle hum sounds from Lumine as she presses another sweet kiss to Venti's lips, the two completely unaware of the two different pairs of watching eyes on them.

   A pair of blue-brown eyes and a pair of green-brown eyes had snuck closer when they'd heard Lumine with someone else. Paimon giggles giddily, "Maybe she didn't need any medicine after all, sorry to have dragged you all the way out here, Tighnar." Tighnari laughs gently, his ears flicking lightly, "Don't fret Paimon, you are Lumine are my friends, it's nice to see her taking a well-needed break to allow herself to love someone." Paimon smiles and nods, "However, we should give them their privacy, Lumine will find you with us at Gandharva Ville when she is well rested and ready, but I have a feeling that will take some time and we should give them their space, she needs a few days rest at minimum, I'm sure that archon can convince her to do that." Tighnari smiles and leads Paimon back to Gandharva Ville to give the lovebirds their own space and privacy.
