On Sunday:

Joon, Hoseok and Jimin entered the Jung mansion. Mr Jung looked at his son. He was beaming and blushing. For the first time, he saw happiness in his son's face. It showed he was over the moon with Joon.

Mr. Jung smiled at his son and Joon, "Well, well, look who's here. My son, the blushing groom. You seem happier than I've seen you in years."

Hoseok blushed even more furiously as he whined soflly at his father, "Appaaaa"

Joon nudged Hoseok teasingly, "Yeah, I have to agree with him, Hoseok. You are blushing".

Jimin nodded at Mr. Jung, "Definitely uncle. It's not every day we see Hobi this giddy."

Mr. Jung playfully teased his son, "I must say, Joon, you've got quite the effect on my boy. I haven't seen him smile like this since... well, ever."

Hoseok rolled his eyes and looked at Joon who was watching him with affection, "Why thank you uncle."

Hoseok sighed boringly, "Are you guys done embarrassing me?"

Mr. Jung hugged his son and Joon as he smiled warmly, "You two make a good pair. I'm glad to see Hoseok so comfortable around you, Joon."

Joon looked at Mr. Jung earnestly, "I promise, Mr. Jung, I'll take good care of him."

Hoseok forced a smile. Hoseok's attempt at a smile felt strained, his heart fluttering like a caged bird, eager to break free. The events of the past week had left a significant impact on him, sowing the seeds of both hope and uncertainty in his heart. As he stood there, listening to Joon's words, a delicate flower of expectation timidly blossomed amidst the garden of his emotions. But was Joon saying these words to console his father? Truth is he doesn't know.

Mr. Jung patted Joon's shoulder, "Thank you Joon. Our Hobi is now officially yours. Take care of each other." Joon nodded at Mr. Jung and looked at Hoseok fondly.

As everyone sat at the dinner table, Joon placed himself near Hoseok.

"Everyone enjoy the meal", Jae said happily.

Hoseok smiled as he placed the napkin in his lap, only to have it slip from his grasp and fall to the floor. As he bent down to retrieve it, Joon grabbed his hand taking Hoseok by surprise.

Hoseok tried to wrench his hand free but his husband was too strong. Joon's grip was unyielding and determined.

Hoseok's eyes flicked toward Joon, their gazes locking as he pleaded through his eyes, silently beseeching Joon to release him from this unexpected hold. A subtle yet desperate tension threaded through his expression, conveying a mix of vulnerability and the need for autonomy.

However, Joon's grasp remained steadfast, his fingers entwined with Hoseok's beneath the tablecloth. Hoseok's unspoken plea seemed to melt against the unwavering determination in Joon's eyes. Despite his initial efforts, he found himself trapped, his hand held captive by Joon's firm grip.
