*FAST FORWARD TO THE DAY BEFORE OPENING DAY*

The day before opening day is always the day everyone dreads, or just wishes this day went by really fast. Only because they want to see all of the fans and how happy they are. All the guys are hyped. They should be. We have to win to show that we are good.

I'm at batting practice with all of the starters for tomorrow's game. Don't get me wrong, love every single one of them, but sometimes they are way too crazy. Like, Noot. Love the guy and all but he has so much energy and it's so funny trying to see him get Goldy to talk. Dude likes to keep a low profile. I think he really cares about me though. I care about him. He's always the first one off the bench when I get into a fight. Which I know I do a lot, but I can't help it. I have a temper. Pretty much everyone in my family does. I guess it's just in our culture to have short tempers. So whoever dates my sister next... good luck. She keeps talking about Aaron Judge which is getting on my last nerve. She's never even hung out with the guy as far as I know and they are texting? What is this? To me it really seems like Noot has a crush on her, but I don't know. That's probably only because they got really close during spring training while he was here. He played at the WBC for a while. Before he left those 2 were inseparable. He would show up to practice late and always have some sort of excuse and the guys would joke with him saying how he's sleeping with her and doing dirty things. I tried to steer clear from that because I don't want to hear how my sister and Noot did it. If they even did it. I doubt Stella would do that anyway. He always gave me this look and I from it I could tell he was scared of me. Could be why he doesn't talk about her anymore. At least around me. He might still do it in-front of other people. Speaking of which he's walking over to me right now.

"Hey does your sister have season passes?"
Shocker he's talking to me about her.

"I have no idea. Why don't you just ask her yourself?"

"I don't want to because she'll probably think I'm some weirdo for asking."

"Why does it matter if she is or not?" I ask.

"Uh I just wanted to see if she was coming to some of the games."

I could tell he was scared. Even though there is no need to be scared. It's not my business to tell my sister who she can and cant date. She can make her own decisions. Unless if it's Aaron Judge.

"Oh she might. I have no idea. Sorry."

"It's ok."

He walks away with his head down. Probably texting Stella as we speak. I mean not even gonna lie they would be cute together, but I feel like Stella is going to break his heart and he will be sad and we won't be able to win because he's in a slump. Hopefully that doesn't happen though or else things will get very bad and I will have a talk with my sister and she won't like what I have to say to her. She's been warned many times to not get too close to the players and look what she does. Gets super close to one of them that they stop acting like themselves just to ask me a question about her. At first it was funny. Now it's just boring and annoying. I wish they would just ask her themselves without involving me into everything in her life. I bet she's sick of that.

I see her INSIDE THE DUGOUT?! How did they let her in!? Why is she in there? She looks up at me and smiles.

"Hey brother!" She says with a smile on her face.

"Hi?" I question.

"Sorry I just wanted to know what it was like to be over here."

"Uh ok. Did they let you in?"

"Yes. Perks of being family with one of the players."

"Yeah right."

Noot then walks over with a big smile on his  face.

I turn towards Stella and she's smiling at him. Are they dating?

"Hey Stells." Noot grins.

"Hey." She smiles

"Are staying for the game or are you just here for me because you can't stay away from this face?"

She shoves him a little.

"Cocky much? And maybe I did miss you. I don't know."

"Don't lie to yourself you missed me a ton when I was at the WBC."

"Ok maybe a little."

"No. In fact I have a text of you saying how you miss me. Shall I read it out loud?"

"No that's won't be necessary" she says embarrassed.

"Oh let's hear it." I say.

"As you wish. 'Noot, I can't take this anymore. Come home right now! I need other half back! I know you are having the time of your life playing for your country, but you really should've brought me  along with you.' Dang Stella you have such a way with words."

"Oh shut up! You know you missed me too." She says crossing her arms.

"I don't know about that..."

"Lars taylor-tatsuji Nootbaar do NOT lie to me"

"Ok ok fine I missed you too."

"Didn't you talk to Ohtani about me too?"

He doesn't know how to respond to that. I can see it on his face that Stella has won this argument and he's upset about it.

"I may have mentioned you once or twice."

"BULL SH*T! YOU TALKED ABOUT ME TO HIM ALL THE TIME. HE DM'D ME ON INSTAGRAM!"

"Ok Stella I think it's time to go." Noot says trying to shove her out.

"Oh this is so not over Tachan" she grins at him and leaves the dugout.

He yells at her. "Seems over to me."

She looks back at him and smiles. He walks out of the dugout and goes over to hug her. Ok what is happening? They hug for maybe 20 seconds.

Kizner out of no where yells "NOOT GOT THAT RIZZ!"

"THATS MY RIGHT FEILDER!" Bader says.

Noot ends the hug and flips them off. Stella then walks away.

I just shake my head with a smile on my face. Goldy is looking at me with a concerned look.

"What?" I ask him.

"You're going to let him date your sister?"

"Not my call. I don't care who it is as long as it's not Aaron Judge."

He laughs at that.

"Well she better not break his heart during the season."
I nod my head in agreement. Next thing I know I hear coach telling us to go to the locker room.

A/n: I added some spice for those that were wanting it. I meannn it's not really spice but it's all your getting. For now. 😱

Ok maybe I'll give you a bonus chapter of them getting closer before Noot left for the WBC.
