The tears behind the smile.

Chapter 5: hospital

It was dark, I didn't know where I was all I could were these transparent tubes hanging by my face. I tried to lift up my arm to move the hanging tubes out of my face but I was in so much pain. 'Sammy! Sammy! What happened?!' I couldn't move my head to see who it was so I barely opened my mouth to say, 'Who is it?' 'It's me Alex, silly!' Who else would it be?

I could feel my eyes watering. I bit my lip and try to force my self not to cry but it was no use, a small tear slipped out of my eye and dripped on to my blanket. Luckily Alex did see so I made my face look a bit more happier and smiled at her pretending nothing happened. 'So what did happened? They say they found you on the floor.' 'Did you trip and fall or something?'

'No, I didn't trip nothing like that, I, I..' 'You what?! You what??!!' 'I got, attacked' As soon as I said that my phone vibrated and I look under the covers and saw who it was from. It was Jaden! It said by the way if you tell anybody what happened I will attack you again but this time we will do it until you die! Oh my gosh?! Why is he doing this to me? What did I do??!!

I looked up and luckily she didn't see. 'Well, who did it then?' I pretended to try and remember then I said, 'Umm I don't remember he hit me on the head hard so I think it will be a while till I remember.' She frowned and sat on the bed next to my legs. She patted my thigh softly and looked at me and started to examine the scars on my face.

The doctor came in and gestured Alex to leave the room so I could get some rest. It was hard because I couldn't rest, all I could do was A: think about why he did that to me and B: who told him I liked him?! I didn't tell anybody I was just on my way to tell Alex that I liked Jaden. This is so frustrating I wish I could talk to someone about this but Jaden threatened me not to. This is so unfair.
