HELLO beautiful people! I'm the author of this wonderful but needed to be updated fanfic and I'm here to clear some things up because I was asked about it on Ao3 and was like I should probably also clear it up on here so here I am! Anyway so first the last chapter wasn't the finale I'm still continuing this book it's just I had the perfect idea for the 7th chapter but I forgot now I need more ideas so if you can give some I would really appreciate that!

And someone has asked me this on Ao3 and I want to also address it here as well someone asked why Will hadn't just gone threw the portal instead of constantly trying to stay in the upside down and here is why it's because he's scared if you haven't caught on yet maybe I haven't been leaving the best hints about it but I'm going to explain his fear because I feel like someone's gonna ask so the reason he's afraid is because he hasn't seen the outside world since he went missing and he doesn't know anything about the world on the other side of that portal. he's scared terrified that he'll say or do the wrong thing and offend someone, He's scared that he'll be shut out of society again like he was when he was a kid, He's scared that nothing has changed and that all the bullying and taunts and slurs he's been called will continue, He's scared of the world that awaits him because the only place he's known since he was 12 was the upside down, He's afraid that it will all be the same running for his life and fighting to survive every single day hoping that one person just one would save him, He's scared that this is all a dream and he'd finally gone insane in the place he's been trapped in for 4 years.

I hope that's a good explanation of his fear and the things he fears of course I know some are gonna be like he shouldn't be afraid of those things it's just society or some dumb shit like that I'm saying this because that's is what my brother said that he shouldn't be afraid of things like that and I'm here to say that he totally should first of all and second of all you have to remember he was 12 when he got trapped and now he's 15 meaning to survive he had to make himself grow up very quickly think about it like Eleven though she was trapped and hidden from the world her whole life it took years and is still taking time before she actually understands everything and gets why people do certain things and she had to grow up fast to adapt with her age and the things she went through even though she's mentally around 5/10 years old or older now try to imagine Will in her shoes he went missing at 12 and now he's 15 that's a whole 4 year mental gap where he couldn't be a kid he had to be an adult for him to survive so Will is mentally still a 12 year old boy but he has the body and age of a 15 year old a freshman in high school and yes Will is very smart for his age but still he is still a child and he will still have trauma and a mental age gap because of him being missing for so long in a place with no people no society no teachers no nothing so he has no idea what awaits beyond that portal or if he's doing things right or saying them right because now he doesn't know what people say or do in this new day and age since he only remembers how people acted when he was 12 he has no idea what regular teenagers do now if this makes any sense you get what I'm trying to say here

And also if any of you guys have anymore questions I will gladly clear and talk about them so just tell me and I'll either make a follow up or tell reply to you to explain more about the universe this relay in give me your theory's and ideas about the next chapter and honestly just ask me questions I really want to explain more of the lore I'm working up here Oh! Also ask me about how Will and Henry met because I really want to share the story and lore I came up for it you know what I'm just gonna explain right now here because Henry might not ever get brought up again in this fanfic...

So lovely people Henry and Will met when Will was 13 almost his second year in the upside down it just happened randomly Will was wondering and found the Creel house where Henry was doing his whole mind thing Will was freaked out accidentally woke Henry up was asked to join Henry Will refused obviously and then he ran and every since then Henry's been fucking with him for fun

So yeahhhhh that's how they met I could go more into detail but I no no wanna): ANYWAYS see all you lovely people later I plan to have this fanfic finished before summer hopefully I can do it low key excited I'll be a freshman next year Yay!
