𝐍𝐘. 𝖸𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝗋𝗈𝗈𝗆
𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐁𝐎𝐘𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃 Kevin had been recently locked up due to some gun possession charges against him, and dealing with him not being here with you had been hard.
Every weeks it's the same routine. He calls you and you answer. Missing the way he smiled, smelled, the way be scrunched his face up when you joked with him.
"Hey ma, how you feelin'?"
"Sad, I miss you baby. So much." Your voice was full with sadness and longing for him. He let out a sigh before starting to speak.
"I know [ NAME ], I'll be home soon trust me. When I get home ima' hug on you. Kiss you, take you out. Watch yo favorite show with you. All the shit we did before I got in here." You smiled through the phone. Memories started to flash through your head.
4 months ago..
"Kay cmon let's watch euphoria." You said while smiling. Kay began to walk over to you and sat next to you on the couch. He began to wrap his arms around your body to bring you closer to him.
"Damn Jules really told rue's mom." He dryly stated.
"Right triflin'. But then again it's good she did cause rue started again."
He nodded turning his attention to you. You were focused on the tv not noticing him starting at you.
"Your so beautiful [ NAME ],"
"Kay.. thank you." You finally turned your attention to him finally looking at him in the eyes.
"One day ima' marry you. I love you ma."
"I love you too Kevin."
You leaned in to rest your head on his shoulders while he pulled you even closer to him. He placed a soft kiss along your forehead before returning his attention to the show.
Currently..
You broke down crying remembering the last moments you shared together before he got locked up. Soft sniffles ringed through the phone.
"Baby.. you okay?" He asked sounding concerned from your sudden outburst of tears.
"Kay I just remembered what you said."
"Hm?"
"You said we're gonna get married one day."
"And I mean the shit, once I get outta here I will marry you. Just wait ma I promise."
Your soft sobs came to a stop. Listening to him and his promise. Kay tried to change the subject to make you feel better.
" have you been writing still? "
"Yeah. I write about you everyday." He let out a low chuckle.
"I bet you have-." Kay is cut off by one of the officers saying his time is up.
"Baby. I gotta go. I'll talk to you soon okay? I love you."
"I love you too Kay."
