JAM's POV

I finally got to my office, I quietly sat down beside Jiji, my friend and my seatmate at the same time.

I was about to ask her who's the one who will come here later, when she started to talk and said "You're finally here, congratulations."

"For what? Do I look good today? Or did I get promoted today?" I said curiously.

She looks at me with a full disappointment on her face. I know I pissed her off this time. Again.

"Do I have to remind you everything? Do I even have to say that you have to check your messages everyday, check out group chat. Is this why you want me to be your friend because you want me to remind you all the time?" She said in one breath.

I just sighed, here we go again. "Aish.."

"AH! Do I made you feel uncomfortable for that?" I gave her a look of disgust.

"What do you think? Do I look like a daughter, a sister of an actress? Did I passed my audition in front of you?" She said while acting cute. I'm cringing right now, please help me.

"Of course. You've passed an audition to me, you can go now, resign and find yourself a new work." I said.

Her smile disappeared and give me a look too. This brat.

"Anyways, who will come here later? Is it a visitor?" I asked.

"No."

"Then who?"

"The owner's daughter."

"Really?"

"Yes, I heard some rumors that she's from US." She said.

"US?"

"Yes and some say that the owner of this company will let his daughter handle this."

"Oh.. but how's Mr. Lim?" (Neli's dad)

"I don't really know about that, but I think after he will pass this company to his daughter, he'll have to rest for the mean time or he'll be back to US or manage the main." She said.

"Cool.."

"What's cool with that?" She asked suddenly.

To be honest, I didn't know with this mouth too, I don't know what's cool with the news. What part of the news did I find it cool to say it out of nowhere.

"Ah.. do you want to have a lunch with me?" I asked her trying to change the topic.

"Are you simply just asking me for a lunch date?"

"Are you still hearing yourself? You're not even cute nor pretty, to make me asked you for a date. Eww."

"But I was just kidding, you idiot."

"It's my treat, by the way." I said while starting to mind my own business at work.

"Sureeeee."

This is the normal thing we're doing at the office. I used to hate her so much and she also used to hate me so much.

12:28 PM

"Oh, it's lunch time already." I said and started to clean up my desk.

"Let's go." I said and we headed to the cafeteria.

As soon as we got there, I started to order our favorite foods. As soon as I get my orders, I went back to the table and have my seat.

"Ya, let's eat. Don't stare at your phone forever." I said while arrange all the food in a small table.

"Ya, did you ever want to know or to meet Mr. Lim's daughter?" She asked me.

"Why? Why would I do that?"

"Wow. You never think of it? What if it's your friend a years ago? Does it ever bump into your mind?"

"Gosh." I said looking at her with a full disgust on my face. "How come it will be her by any chance? There's so many koreans who went abroad too."

"But, if by any chance there's fifty percent that it will be her. Half half of the chance... you know, if you ever use a statistical probability on it."

I sighed. I didn't even get what she meant again. "AAAAAAAAA, just go eat! It might be hunger."

As we eat together, I slowly get what she really meant but never get a chance to explain it clearly on me.
