April opened up her eyes, the first thing she notices was that she was sitting in a seating booth. The second, she was in a 1980 fashion restaurant. April started to get up from her slouching on the table and glanced around a few times. There was an old jukebox in the corner near the doorway out and in of the restaurant. Some teens were dancing to the funky grooves that it played, others stood by it or had an arm on the jukebox, snapping their fingers to the beat, at least that's what they're trying to do aside from the fact that they are snapping their fingers rather slower and less rhythmic.
The boys next to the jukebox had their backs against the wall also trying to snapping their fingers to the beat. They all had a black jacket with the same shirt on which was a red shirt that has a tire on flames for the logo, along with dark blue pants. April didn't even realize that she too had the same outfit as the other greasers.
"Yo April," One of the greasers called out her name, "come join us!"
April wondered how the boy even knew her name, she was a bit startled and shocked. She then finally answered.
"Nah I'm fine, you guys have fun. I need to clean up a bit..."
"Suit yourself sweet cheeks!" The boy then went back to doing his own business. You're lucky that we're in a restaurant.
...
April found the restroom in the back area, near the kitchen. When she walked into the 3 stalled room, she turns to the mirror. At least her features didn't change, except for her hair. Her hair was parted to the side, a bow placed at the back of her head to let the rest of her hair fall down behind her.
Please, this has GOT to be a dream, none of this could be real! She started to splash water on her face. she then clanged both hands onto the sink's rims.
I wonder. I wonder if this even all real, that this really isn't a dream, that Clover... April shakes the thought of it away. No no no! Get yourself together April! If the other world wasn't real then you wouldn't have felt and have memories of it all. April thought back to the last time she saw Clover.
...
Everyone was waiting. April had on a golden tie with a black suit. She started to adjust her tie nervously. It had been 10 minutes that the oh-so beautiful bride hasn't started walking up the isle of the red carpet with white and pink flower petals scattered onto it. The guests started to become anxious and worried that she might have declined the decision of being married to another woman.
April looked up at the priest. He didn't so much as cared for what is going on.
"Okay everyone!" April yelled to get guests' attention.
"Do not worry, I'll go fetch her!" Without another work of disapproval, April started to run out of the podium. and through the doors.
The first place that April went to was where the bride had dressed up to get her wedding dress on. April didn't even hesitate to knock, she opens the doors wide. April did't even realize that the room felt nauseating, making her dizzy. She didn't so much as cared for it, she is only after the target.
"Clover!?" There was no answer. April started to move side to side from the dizziness.
"Clover, I know you're in here! Come out!" There still was no answer.
"Clover! Is this how you're going to reject me!? Come and say it to my face! I want to see your face!" April stumbled and fell to the side of the dresser, that was right next to her, for support. A delicate baby light blue vase with white roses in it, which was sitting on top of the dresser, fell off from it. The vase shattered, spilling the contents of the roses and water to the ground.
