HEY GUYS! SORRY FOR THE LOOOONG UPDATE! I just don't exactly do stories that often. I draw too much. Here be a picture I made.
(In order from left to right) Melon, April, and Clover
This is them when April was 19 and Melon and Clover at the age of 18.
I so good at art, but, on with the story! <33
MELON'S POV
We were walking down the streets of my beautifully structured world. I looked back to see if April was also taking in some of the surrounds. She wasn't.
My faced turned into total disappointment. I looked back to make sure we weren't going to bump into anything.
"Umm... We're almost there..?" My sentence turned more into a question rather than a statement.
April just kept her head down. Not a word spoken.
APRIL'S POV
"Umm... We're almost there..?" Melon spoke up. I didn't feel to care if she wanted an answer, I just want to find Clover.
Melon stopped in her tracks, me, bumping into her. I perked my head up to see why she stopped. She was glaring at me with a straight face.
The face... That Clover would make..... When I wouldn't tell her something that's bugging me... I stared at Melon with shock in my big blue eyes.
"Is something bothering you?" She finally asked.
"Well of course something is bothering me." I looked away starting "Telling me that my whole life was a hallucination, wouldn't bother me? Well you got a new thing coming for yeah lady." Why did I say that!? Ugh, whatever, at least I'm getting that message out to her, telling her that this was all her fau-
"I'm sorry." I perked up at her.
"Wh-what?" "I said 'I'm sorry.'" She said again. "Look I didn't mean for you to be upset about it, I didn't know what you went through, but whatever it was, you should forget about it."
FORGET!? Why would I forget about... Wait. What if everything really wasn't real?.. What!? April, are you crazy!? You felt it all! You knew everything about that life! You know nothing about the world you're in right now! Just run! Find Clover, and get out of this place! It isn't save! But...
I looked over at Melon. We stared for a few seconds before Melon started.
"You know, we REALLY should be going." "Why?" I asked.
"Because." With that one word, the answer fell onto our heads, LITERALLY. The sky started to pour water like no tomorrow. We covered our heads.
"Follow me!" Melon yelled over the rain. I nodded. She started to run, I came after.
...
MELON'S POV (when am I going to stop?)
We ran to my house. It was a small innocent white house. Flowers with various colors were littered on the window seals, they were by, on, and hanging from and near the porch. Yes, very innocent. And an old rusted light pole stood near the house. It made the house seem like it was. Innocent?
I did the best I could to make it feel like I was just an innocent little girl, who knows very well how to be responsible, and take better care with her actions. And when I make a family in that little home, it will make it more innocent.
