Chapter 7:Girlfriend?Me?

Getting ready is worst than ever. It took me like five hours to find a perfect dress. God!. Hopefully I will find one!. Finally I found a perfect dress and accessories that matches with it. Good job Mia!!!. While wearing my dress,I looked myself in the mirror and I realized I looked ugly while wearing my glasses. When I removed and looked at the mirror, I looked different from usual. Wow!. Just hoping Joe would love it!.
"Mia. Honey are you.."
I turned around to see my mom surprisingly shocked to see me.
"Sweetheart. You look beautiful honey. God I have such a beautiful daughter and a lovely wife too."
"Mom stop crying. Your making me blush."
"Darling. She's not his wife. Better stop saying that."
Opps Dad. Uh oh mom. Your busted. But it was cool the way she said a lovely wife. Cute!.
"Um sorry sweety. It just came out of my mouth. I'm sorry."
"Anyways. Are you both ready. Better hurry. They are going to be here any minute."
"Yeah we both are ready. Just have to finish the golden chicken. Oh what a busy day."
"Mia."
"Yes dad."
"Honey. Don't be so close to Joe. It's for your best. Got it."
"Got it dad."
"Besides this you look beautiful. OK now I have to help your mother. Love you."

I couldn't believe it. Did he just say that?. I was hurt inside literally the way he said it. Calm down Mia. It's OK. As soon as I finished my makeup,there was a bell on the door.It must be Joe. Oh my God. So nervous. I looked myself in the mirror again to check myself.
"I'll open the open."
"Ok Mom."
"Oh welcome. You must be Joe's mother."
"Yes."
"Oh let me introduce myself. I'm Noelle Edward, Mia's mother and this is Edward,Mia's father and my husband and this is Zeke,Mia's younger brother and this Mia,my daughter........Mia"
I was so nervous about meeting them. God please they should be good!.I went downstairs to see Joe and his parents staring at me. Mia. Stop blushing. Stop blushing.
"Hello."
"Oh um. Noelle your daughter is beautiful. I must say."
"Yeah she looks sexy too."
Everyone turned to face Joe. Did he juat say me sexy?.Here comes the flirty Joe.
"Oh. Im sorry really sorry. Continue."
"Oh ok. Let me introduce myself too. I'm Diana Carter,Joe's mother and this is Justin Carter,his father and my husband."
"Let's have a seat everyone. In the living room. Mia honey, Come on."
"Coming mother."
I was about to go inside when I felt something on my hand. Wait. Who's behind me. I turned around to see Joe staring at me. Stop you blushy cheeks.
"Mia. I mean it when I said you looked sexy than usual. Well then let me just give you a..."
"Hmmm. Mia get inside the living room and you too Joe."
Dad. Great.
"Yeah dad."
"I mean now. Get in. Except you Joe."
Uh oh. Problem. I pretended to go inside but I peeked to see what was happening...
"Listen Joe. It's fine if you talk to Mia but I'm her father,I know what is good for her and what is bad. So its better for you and her to stay away and talk a bit less. I'm sure you will understand."
OMG. DAD!!!!!. YOU CANT DO THIS!!!. WHY????.
"It's fine Mr.Edward. I understood. I know she's your daughter and your her father and you know everything good and bad for her. So here's your deal Sir. I would talk less than usual at home and school too."
"Thanks Joe."
"Your welcome Mr.Joe."
You have got to be kidding me. How can this happen!!!!!. Especially with me. God I hate my father right now. I was about to go inside when someone just stopped me by holding my hand and it was....
"Mia. Can I have a word or two with you for a second."
"What?. You think you can have a deal with my dad and the next thing you do is talk to me. What do you think of yourself!"
I shouted for more than a second. This is what you should get Joe.
"Mia. Listen I just wanna say something. It's really important for both of us."
I kept myself quite until I saw Joe on knees with some beautiful roses just for me..
"Mia. Ever since I saw you on that first day of school, I laid my eyes on you. But too afraid to say I love you. But now standing in front of you with flowers,just need a yes from you. Please just say I love you tooo".
Wow. This guy surely knows how to sing with a bouquet of flowers. Just kidding .While he was singing,I was imagining myself sitting right next to him listening to his beautiful voice whilst playing the guitar neat the camp fire.Wait. Am I getting too cheesy.What a cheesy Mia!.
"Joe.That was an amazing. But I don't think we shouldn't be in a relationship."
"But why babe?"
OK.To be honest what has happened to Joe.Be didn't act like that before we became best friends or let's a boy and a girl friends.
"Because if we ever go into a relationship,what if my parents find out.Especially my dad. You know how he is. The way he talked to you while we were about to kiss. He would definitely kill me if I go against his rules."
Yup I said it. Because I'm the only daughter of my parents. After my brother was born,my mom sadly couldn't give birth because of having a stupid f'ing stone in her abdamon. My mom always praid for having another baby but she couldn't even try after her operation. So from that moment on she was officially a negative mother. I used to always dream about my baby sister but it doesn't matters to me. If my mom couldn't give me a baby sister then I would have a daughter of my own with maybe Joe or someone else. Hopefully.
"Listen Mia. I know father is a grumpy guy..."
"Ehmm."
"Sorry."
"Nah just kidding. He is actually."
"Oh ok. But Mia. All I wanna say is that our relationship would be private. None of them will know about it. I promise. I promise that our relationship would be endless. I promise that I would never hurt. Instead I would hurt myself so that you wouldn't be hurt. Because I love you. Always and forever."
"Wow Joe. I love you too. So much you have no idea. I would say its a yes."
"Oh my god Mia. Is it true?"
"Yes Joe."
"Oh my. I love you like hell Mia."
"Mia Joe. Dinners ready."

We both said at the same time. We have so much in common.
"Joe sweety. Why are holding flowers?. Are those for me???."
Hey mom. Those are mine.
"Um yes Mrs.Edward. These are specially for you. Here you go."
"Oh thank you darling. These are lovely."
"Your welcome Mrs.Edward."
Awwwww. He looked so cute. Shut up brain.
After dinner we talked,laughed,stared at each other. Awkwardness overloaded. But we totally enjoyed. Sadly they had to leave. Gosh why time flies?.
"Goodbye Noelle. It was nice meeting you both. And goodbye Mia. You sure are a lucky daughter."
Whaaaaaat does she mean.
"Thanks Mrs.Carter. It was meeting you too."
"And me." Joe whispered.
"Yeah you too." I whispered back.
"Bye everyone."
"Byeeeee!"
It sure was a good day. I can't believe I'm in a relationship with Joe.Ladies and gentlemen, Mia and her boyfriend Joe.
