Chapter 12:#GraduationProposal

Weeks before Graduation:
Got passed. Got a lot of love from prom. Now the last day of our lives. Its graduation!. I was so excited for this day just to meet Joe after a long time. Just kidding. I woke in the morning and Zeke bought me breakfast and mom and dad gave me tons of gifts,hugs,kisses(on the cheek!),got emotional etc. But mom got a special gift for me, a graduation gown for me!. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The whole day I was just excited to see Joe and Kiara. But honestly Joe was the main person. Anyways back to normal,ate,watch television, had a chat with Joe and Kiara including Juliana. It was now 7:10,got dressed applied makeup ,brushed my hair and got ready. Usually I would just wear my mom's old dresses when she was my age because I was not really interested in fashion like the devil(Stephanie!).
"Mia Joe's here. Better hurry sweety."
"Coming mom. Just a minute."
I looked at the mirror once again just to check that I was looking perfect to be a perfect date for Joe. Stop the Joe thingy and get down Mia.!. OK my dumb brain. I went downstairs and saw everyone's eyes widened to see me. Hey do I look that beautiful?. Well you do Mia. Thanks brain. My dad was the first one to say.
"Mia. I can't believe its my daughter!. You look stunning and gorgeous."
"Thanks dad."
"Your welcome but remember one thing. Don't stay too close to Joe. Understand?"
"Yes dad. I won't."
"Good girl. Now come on let's take a picture. Noelle get the camera please!."
"Sure. Now everyone say cheese."
"Cheese!"
We all said together but I wasn't happy about dads serious line. Why does he say that?. I said goodbye and left the house and saw Joe waiting outside the car just for me!. Shocking to say!... He looked so cute and handsome in his black suite and tie. Wait Mia he's not Christian Grey!. Oh yeah!.
"Hey there beautiful. Look sexy as usual."Joe smirked.
"Uh thanks. You don't look bad at all either."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah."
"Alright come on let's go!"
"Ladies first."
He opened the door for me. How generous of him!. He started driving with one on the steering wheel and the other on my hand ,rubbing my hands with his thumb. It was kinda awkward but still every time he does this,my heart beats faster then usual.
"Babe. Can i ask you something?"
"What do you wanna ask Joe?"
"Don't you feel scared about that day?"
"Which day Joe?"
"The day when we had....."
Joe stopped and started blushing. I knew it he was gonna ask that!. I actually didn't feel bad that day or felt scared that my parents would say something. I understood that he loves me. Only me. No one else but me!.
"Of course not Joe. Why do you think that?"
"Because you know maybe you would feel bad or something. Or get tensed that your parents would say something.."
"Joe! Calm down there's nothing to be scared about OK!. I love that day. Honestly!."
"Thanks babe. Even I liked that day too. Maybe we should do it some other time. Don't ya think?"
"That was cheesy Joe. And right now focus on the road. We'll think about that later."
"Ooohhh fine."
When we reached there I felt a bit scared,what if I see Stephanie again?. What if she punches me again?. Calm down Mia. Calm down!. I was opening my door but Joe came and opened the door for me.
"What makes you think I would not do anything for my girl. Come on my sexy babe. Let's go."
"Oh really!"
I made a shocking face just to annoy him. Because I love annoying people except Stephanie. Ugh!
"I swear Mia. I would kiss you right now if you made that face again. You always force me to do this."
"Fine enough with this and let's go."
We entered inside and the hall was beautiful. It was so huge and perfectly decorated. I looked around and saw Stephanie. Uh oh. I tried not to stare at her and met everyone. Kiara and Juliana were the first one to see us.
"Kiara stop talking and.....Oh my Mia. You look beautiful. I can't even believe its you."
"Yeah Mia. Gurl you look hell amazing. And you too Joe."
"Thanks both of you. Even you two look gorgeous. So where are your date?"
"I'm single."
"Not me Derek is here. I'm in a relationship with Derek."
"What about Edward?. He was good right?."
"Long story girl."
"OK now end this conversation and it's speech time."Juliana said.
We wore our graduation dress and sat on our benches. During the whole speech Joe had his arm around my back. While Kiara was busy snoging Derek ,Juliana was glued to speech.
"Hey aren't you guys gonna listen or what?!"
"Chill gurl. We are listening."
"While having a mini snoging time."
Kiara started blushing and slapped my arm. We both started laughing badly and couldn't stop but thanks to Joe he stopped me. After the speech was finished we had to go to stage and there I was shivering really badly .
"Babe calm down."
"I...I...can't calm..d..down."
"Hey look at me."
I looked at him and all of a sudden I was calm. What a miracle!.
"See told ya."
"Thanks Joe."
"And now Mia Edward. Mia please come up on the stage!."
I went up and suddenly the lights went off. What the hell?!.
Joe's POV:
As soon as the lights went off, I immediately removed my gown and took out the case. This was the day I would ask Mia to be my life partner. The plan was actually going perfect. I told Kiara and Juliana to put her favourite music and went to the stage before the lights turned on. As the lights turned on,I took the mic and started saying the lines I wrote for Mia.
"Hey everyone. I know you must be wondering why the lights turned of because today ladies and gentlemen,I would like to say a few words to my amazing girlfriend who's standing right here. Mia, babe. I just wanna say that ever since I saw you the first time, I just couldn't let my eyes go off from your beautiful face. I know everyone used to hate you and never loved you. But I always loved you. I don't care what Stephanie used to say or talks about you or anyone else talks about you. I just cared about how you felt. Although you used to wear glasses and baggy clothes but still you are perfect to me. So today,with all of my heart. I just want you to have this special gift and...."
I went on one knee and opened the case. Mia was happily crying and was shocked after she saw the ring.
"Mia Edward. Would you like to be my wife!."
Mia's POV:
After hearing that amazing speech,I couldn't stop myself from crying. When Joe opened the case and saw the ring,I was completely shocked.
"Mia Edward. Would you like to be my wife!."
"Yes! Yes!"
Everyone cheered and Kiara and Juliana came up and hugged me,I couldn't believe I was gonna be Mia Carter!.
"Wohoo Mia love you girl!."Kiara screamed.
"Thanks Kiara."
"Mia you made me the happiest person in my whole life!."
"Me too. I can't believe we're going to get marry!. I'm so excited."
That day was the only happiest day for me!
