Chapter 9:Project on the go!

I woke up at 6:00 clock in the morning which was way too early for me but i didnt mind because it meant that I could have extra time for getting ready!!.Which I needed since I was going to see Joe for the first time since the day he asked me out!.Well here come the butterflies in my tummy!.I decided on wearing a white shirt with "§hô₱ Tï₤£ Ü Đrõ₱" written on it with a black skinny and tied my hair up in a ponytail. I wanted my hairs to be tied because we (i.e. me and joe) will start working on the project today and i didnt want to feel too sweaty then I already will be (ikr this is such a gross thought). Anyways, when I went down for breakfast the first thing I noticed was that Zeke had taken my suggestion of making a card and it was now kept beside mom's plate which meant that mom was in for a surprise. Anyways,when Zeke noticed me, he smiled and remarked
"Nice outfit sis looks amazing on you"
Which was like the first compliment he had given to me in like 5 years. I responded with
"Thanks Zeke means alot" and gave him a smile!
I then had my pancakes and hurried outside where my dad was waiting for me in his car. He also seemed somewhat surprised by seekng me but it wasnt because of the outfit, it was because I was 10 mins early.
"Wow" my dad said
"Look who is early today"
To which I just sighed in response and sat in the car. During the whole ride I was a bit tensed seeing Dad. The reason is none but Joe. I'm just scared what if dad talks something realted to our relationship. But thanks god he didn't.
"Bye sweetie. Have fun."
"Yeah thanks dad. Bye."
"Mia."
"Yes dad."
"Honey I just wanna say that you just stay a bit away from Joe. OK?"
What?. That's the only problem. Why dad hates Joe so much??.
"Um OK dad. I will. Bye."
"Bye."
Awkward.....
Moving on to my first class(I.e.my math class). Great!!!. I went to my class and the next thing I saw was girls hugging me. I had no idea why??. I was kinda shocked seeing the fact that they were now my best friends. To be honest,they used to hate me like hell bit now as heaven?. Who did this?. Who's doing this to me?.
"Hey Mia. You look beautiful in this shirt. Oh if you're waiting for Joe. He's gonna be here any minute."
That was Juliana. Another member of Stephanie's gang. Glad she left her.
"Umm thanks Juliana.*
"Your welcome. See ya"
"Yeah you too."
"Hey Mia. Its been years since I last met you. Congrats by the way. I just found the news today. See I told you were gonna be together with Joe."
"Uh yeah thanks Kiara. By the way I just wanna ask how did you find about it?"
"Oh um Joe was the one who told all of us. OK now its math class and you know how Miss Tess is. Come on Mia. Let's sit"
"Um OK."
Let me tell you about Miss Tess Goodwin. She is really strict. Like really strict. Always talks about her past bathces. How she used to teach them. Starts comparing us with other classes. What I'm trying to tell that she is kinda nice but not too much. So this the story.While having a tiny chat with Kiara,Miss Tess entered the class but the only thing I noticed was Joe. He was not sitting anywhere. Maybe he's bunking the class like old times.
"Good morning. I hope you sure did complete the assignment I gave you as homework?"
Wait did I complete it?. Better have to check it. I opened my handbag and yup I surely did not do it. Oh Sugar Honey Ice Tea. Busted.
"Mia. What are you looking at the back?."
Uh oh.
"Umm nothing Miss Tess. Just checking were there any spiders or ants in my bag."
I used to hear my classmates giggle or laugh on this line. But none of them laughed. Is everyone OK?.
"OK Mia. I suppose you completed your assignment?."
"Oh um Miss Tess.I'm so sorry but I didn't complete my assignment. Actually I was a bit busy with family meetings."
"MIA. WHY DIDNT YOU COMPLETE YOUR ASSIGNMENT.I TOLD NOT JUST YOU BUT EVERYONE TO COMPLETE IT NO MATTER WHAT.GET UP AND COME WITH ME TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE I SAID...."
She was about to slap me when I felt no sting on my cheek. Wait she was gonna slap me. Isn't she.?.I turned to my face to see Miss Tess's hand was in hold of Joe's hand. Awww did he just saved me from the hurtful slap. God Mia you should thanks god instead of him. Oh thanks brain!.
"Miss Tess. This isn't the way to slap a student who just did not complete her assignment for the damn first time.
Instead you should have just be calm for a while."
"How dare you speak to a teacher like that. You some will be expelled form this college. You better understand."
"Soon. How about now. But instead of me. It would be nice that you should leave the class. Or let's just say leave the school."
This is epic. Damn epic. She is so in trouble. Way to go my love.
"Fine Joe. I'm going to call Principal Brooke. Just wait and watch."
"Watch what. How you leave the school."
Miss Tess gave a look to him. To be honest. There were tons and tons of complains against Miss Tess. But still she is alive. After a few minutes, Principal Brooke entered the classroom and we all wished him.
"So I just heard something annoying Miss Tess. Is something wrong?."
"Yes Principal Brooke. Its about Mia and Joe. Well mostly about Joe. Umm to be honest what a wonderful teacher I am..."
"What!!!!!"
We all said it at the same time.
"Class!"
"Sorry Principal Brooke."
"Continue."
"Yeah um Joe was really rude with me. He was kind of shouting on me. I have no idea why."
"Principal Brooke. This is so wrong. She was the one who was scolding Mia just because she didn't complete her assignment for the first time. Please understand."
Principal Brooke was paused for a moment. For the first time he heard a student saying please. Miss Tess was now giving a death glare to everyone.
"So Miss Tess,it looks like you have 1042 complains that are against you and this means a teacher gets expelled from school and never returns."
"What do you mean Principal Brooke?
"Yes Miss Tess. It looks like you have to leave this school. I'm sorry."
"Noononnononononononononon. Please don't kick me out of this school."
"Leave now Miss Tess!"
"Fine. I'm leaving. I hate you all."
Like we care if you hate us. Goodbye miss Tess. And during this time I was appreciating everyone who complained about her. Way to go!!!!.
"Yay."
We all screamed. It was like a volcano just got erupted. Everyone was cheering seeing Miss Tess getting out of the school gate and reaching to her car. Every student was thanking joenand mostly Principal Brooke.
"Hey Joe."
"Yeah."
"Thanks."
"Nah. Remember what you said when we first met that never say sorry or thank you because we are best friends "
"Oh I almost forgot."
"Come here you.."
Uh huh. This part is too good to share!!!!!. If you understood this. But sadly was broken by our schoolmate, Cody.
"Hey guys you all know that tomorrow is Halloween. Remember?"
"What!!!!. Yay!!!!!!!"
We all screamed in enthusiasm. Can't believe tomorrow is Halloween. That means I have to wear something way cooler than usual.
"Hey guys it's at my house. Let's have some Party!!!!!"
"Yay!!!"
