Mia's POV
I woke up Derek holding me at the same spot I got hit.
"What happened? Where did he go?"
"Don't you worry, I got it covered. Now he wouldn't dare trouble you again"
He helps me to my feet and leads me outside of this shithole of a place. Jimmy opens the car door for us and drives us home.
We arrive home and I make my way to my bedroom I receive a text message from Molly.
Molly:
*Where are you? Are you alright? Steph's asking who we have to kill.*
I laugh at the message. I text her the address and tell them to come over.
As I lay in my bed it just feels so good and warm. I could just sleep all day. Derek has a good taste of the interior. I heard the doorbell and immediately got up and went downstairs to greet my girls.
"Hey girl," Molly says
"Hi, come in"
"Girl this place is huge," Steph says
I nod and lead them to my bedroom. After we comfortably take a seat on the bed.
"Now spill"
I begin telling them about how my ex dragged me to his place and later Derek came to save me.
"He's good for you" Molly shares
I blush and our cook came to the room to serve our refreshments.
"Molly you need to tutor me before exams"
"Let me know when we'll study"
I tell her to meet me tomorrow at the library for a study sesh.
*** *** ***
Soon the exams pass and we were all relieved.
I come home to see Derek had some company.
Jenny pulled me in a bone-crushing hug the moment she saw me.
"Hey it's been a long time"
I hugged her back. I like her.
"Derek why didn't you introduce her to our parents," she says
I blush at the thought of meeting his parents.
"I will when the time comes," he says
