Hurt !!!!

The next day it was the match.All the players were in the dressing room getting ready. 

Dada came there to encourage the players before the match and said 'Look boys, no matter what happens at the end of the match always give your best. That's what matters and nothing else. Winning or losing is a part of the game, you can't control that but you can control the game with your playing. If someone says anything to you on field then don't keep quiet, answer them with bat and ball. Remember, all of you are champions. Go, boys and show the power of Men in Blue'.

All present there could see he was emotional while saying his words and they understood that he was reminiscing his moments with his team in the dressing room. They just couldn't understand how people can think such a person to be arrogant and selfish.

All the boys clicked their heels and said 'Yes, dada.'

Dada came out of his thoughts and shook his head at their antics with a small smile 'Draamebaaz'.

Soon it was time for the toss and Virat went out to toss. He won the toss for a change and chose batting first. Shikhar and Rohit went out to open. It was a good start. As the day passed India dominated the game with Virat's century and Kuldeep's hattrick. The result of the game was already decided

During the lunch break, as usual the ICT was doing what they do best together - nonsense in the dressing room. 

On the other hand, there were a few people within the South African management who just could not tolerate ICT dominating the ground. As per them, India is not even qualified to play with any other country.

But what irked them the most was the beautiful smile on dada's face. They could never see that. They were already burning seeing him present as the president of BCCI.

During the break as Sourav was leaving to meet the team those same men blocked his path. As it was lunch break there was no person other than them.

Sourav:- 'Yes, how can I help you?'

Man 1 :- 'by dieing' and all of them started laughing.

Sourav was not having a good feel regarding these men.

'What do you mean? look I am busy right now, If you want to talk with me please get an appointment.'

Man 2:- 'Appointment!!! huhh! that too to meet a man who is nothing but an arrogant and selfish fool. Who threw a legends like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina out of the team within one year of coming. Even the current team doesn't like you.'

Man 1:- 'yeah who would like a hypocrite like him? Jesus! I have to admit. Indian Cricket team does a commendable job by tolerating him. Remember 2005 Srilanka match, how well the Indian team functioned without you. Even in 2007 T 20 world cup, it was good that you were not there. Thank Jesus Greg was able to see your true mentally disabled state and took away captaincy from you.'

Saying this they again shared a laugh.

On the other hand Sourav was completely shattered hearing their words. He was extremely hurt hearing these words. But not a single emotion was seen on his face.

Sourav:- 'You are requested to leave from here. Don't forget who I am and what steps can be taken against you for these type of words.'

Man 3:- 'Ohhh, don't worry. We remember what you actually are. a mentally unstable person and an arrogant leader. using your position will not change the true facts. You are a true shame in the name of all sportsmen.'

Sourav was broken, hurt and scared hearing these words. But he is THE Sourav Ganguly. He never breaks.

But his tormentors saw his clenched hands and felt satisfied that their job was done for then.

They all hugged him one by one and said in his ears 'Hope you die soon. Then Indian cricket will be saved from you.'

They all left leaving behind a numb Sourav. That's how his PA found him after 5 minutes who came to call him for lunch as he was late.

Sourav came out of the trance and said mechanically:'I am not hungry right now. let's go meet the team.'

He entered the room only to be met with a group of overgrown kids jumping on him shouting all at once. He looked at them and tried to find any kind of hatred for himself in their eyes. He could find none.

Harry and Jaddu pulled him along with themselves to get help from him to prank Mahi bhai. As usual for some stupid reason which can't even be termed as a reason, Rohirat started fighting. Suddenly Rohit in order to tease Virat said 'Are all Indian captains this unstable mentally yah sirf tu hai mentally unstable?'

Virat who was about to say something more more stupid abruptly stopped and said 'Dada!'

Everyone turned to look at Dada hearing his shout. He was standing there looking pale and gazing into nothingness.

Sourav who was zoned out throughout Jaddu and Harry's conversation heard Rohit's words and felt as if the ground has slipped from his feet. 

All he could think of was that the kids also believed him to be mentally unstable and he felt those words ringing in his ears along with the words of accusation and death wish.
