"Just give me the remote" Matt says reaching towards nick

"No I got it" nick says changing the show

"Oh my god your so funny Chris" I hear Hannah in the kitchen and I roll my eyes

Matt holds my hand and smiles at me

"You ok?" He whispers in my ear

"Mhm" I nod and smile at him

He pulls his hand off of mine and lays it on his lap

I lay my head back on the back of the couch and keep watching the show

...

"See you later Hann" Chris's voice says and the front door shuts

I look up at him and he notices me

"Oh hey yn" he says and sits on the other end of the couch

I ignore him because he's been a douche bag all day and expects me to be nice

"Jeez" he makes a face and looks away

"Hey I think im gonna go home" I say looking at Matt and then Nick

"Ok bye yn thanks for coming over" Nick says smiling and I nod

I put on my shoes and walk back to my house

I shut my front door and go up to the roof to hangout and watch the sunset

I take a drink from my water bottle and decide to take some pics for Instagram

By now the sun I already down and I'm just sitting on the roof in the night and thinking about stuff

Since when was Hannah 'friends' with Chris

And why are they hanging out after me and Chris has a tiny hiccup of an argument?

I feel my phone buzz

I pick it up and it's from Nick

Incoming Chris just left I think he's on his way to yours

I don't know if he's crabby or not

Now I wait for Chris to come up onto the roof and find me because I assume he saw my story on Instagram

I hear the door open and I look over and Chris comes through

I look away and look towards the lights in town over the back of the couch

"Hey" he says and walks over

"Hi" I say

"Wanna talk" he says sitting

"Not really" I yawn

He sighs

"Why are you here" I ask honestly annoyed by his presence

"For you" he says

"Why don't you go to Hannah's house" I rub my nose

"We're just friends" he says and I feel an urge to laugh but I don't

"Nice" I say looking up at the dark sky

"I was thinking" he says sniffling

I finally look down at him

"Thinking about what" I ask

"Maybe we just need a few months" he says looking in his lap

"Maybe we do" I say turning on the couch so my legs are straight on the couch

I sniffle

"Just to be on our own and do stuff" he says

"Mhm" I say looking at the stars

"I'll see you" he says

I don't respond and I hear him get up and the door inside shuts

Tears fall down the sides of my face and I look into my lap

I breath out my mouth and calm my slightly set off breathing like Matt taught me

It's okay because maybe Chris is right

Maybe we just need a few months to ourselves without a relationship or something

I grab a blanket off the back of the couch and cover myself in it

I lay my head on a pillow and end up falling asleep
