Chapter 5: Ill Protect You, Always

Sarbina's POV:

It's been a week since the 'incident'. I wasn't scared anymore, I thought it through and kept reliving that moment over and over. I couldn't get past Harry's kisses without feeling my heart flutter. Then my eyes would shoot open as soon as his monsterous side appeared, and I felt his growl against my ear.

He hasn't been at school all week, and honestly I was getting kind of worried. I felt guilty because I didn't let him explain himself. I guess I was just a big pussy and let my fear talk instead of me. I still needed answers.. from the weird kiss at the party, to the whole attack.. All week I've been a mess just thinking about Harry. I don't even know why I care.. I guess because my feelings for him are still there, and I only thought of the sweet Harry.

"um hello? Sabrina?" Tiff waved her fork in front of me.

"Hmm?" I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Are you okay..?"

Although Tiff is my best friend, I didn't tell her anything that happened that night. I just kept it to myself, no one needed to know. They'd think I'm crazy for still having feelings or Harry after he attacked me. But I could feel that it wasn't him attacking me, something else was.

"Sabrina seriously."

"Uh sorry Tiff, I just haven't been feeling so good" I lied.

"Well then go to the nurse. Jesus."

"Yeah.. I should"

"Well don't go yet, let me finish lunch first"

"okay.."

"Hey babe" Liam came behind Tiffany and held his hands in front of her eyes. "Guess whooo?"

"Hmmm idk, that sexy technician my mom hired?" She joked.

Liam pouted and removed his hands.

"I missed you! Why weren't you here this morning?" She asked him.

Yup.. Liam and Tiff are kind of an item now.

"I had some uhhh.. mate problems" He shot me a glance.

what's that supposed to mean?

"Oh, are the boys alright?"

Oh.. Harry.

"Yeah yeah, they're fine. They just weren't up for school today."

"What about Harry?" I blurted out.

Damn me and my mouth.

He looked at me a bit shocked, he obviously knew what had happened that night.

"He's um. Fine."

I could smell his lie.

"Well now that Liam's here to keep me company you can go to the nurse, hope you feel better" Tiff smiled.

"Yup. Thanks." I spoke coldly.

I rushed out of the cafeteria and didn't bother going to the nurse's, I just walked out of school. Fuck school right now.

"Are you freaking kidding me?!? Damn it!!"

I left my keys locked in my car. Why am I such a dumb ass??

I couldn't call anyone for help because then I'd get caught. Looks like I'm walking.

I headed down the back of the school and snuck my way past the gym doors. I made it to the street and just kept walking.I plugged in my headphones and made my way down the street.
