Chapter 3: Axel

POV: Ray

I woke that morning and just wanted to stay home but I knew I couldn't so I got up and got ready for my day.

I went down stairs and greeted my siblings and mom and then left so I wouldn't run into Elly.

Luckily I left early enough cause she walked into the school just 5 minutes after me.

When I walked into my first class I saw him the person I already dreaded the most in this school. (And that was saying a lot considering what happened with Elly.) He was in the seat next to mine which happened to be empty yesterday.

Thankfully Zach was on my other side which made me feel better about the situation.

I finally realized I was just standing in the door way so I walked in and sat down. Zach started talking right away but I wasn't really focused because I could only focus on the extremely tall and irritating man sitting next to me.

Zach snapped his fingers in my face which made me snap back to reality. He said " were you paying attention to anything I said" and to that I could only say "sorry I didn't get much sleep last night so I just zoned out" which wasn't a complete lie. I didn't get a lot of sleep cause I was thinking about yesterday and I did zone out.

Finally the teacher walked in and started the lesson. I used this to take a glance at the guy, I still didn't know his name but I didn't really care, all I knew was that I hated him with all my guts.

He looked at me and leaned in whispering "take a picture it will last longer" I scoffed and whispered "you wish I was staring at you" with that I rolled my eyes and turned my focus back to the teacher. The lesson was pretty boring so I just looked out the window till the class was over.

After class Zach and I went straight to the second one so we got there before anyone else.

Or so we thought. Guess who just happened to be there.

Oh yeah him, he was in my second class too. This is just great I can't believe I don't have just one but two classes with him. And again he happened to be in the seat right next to me.

That's when it clicked in every one of my classes nobody sat next to me because it was his seat.

I decided to just sit down in my seat and ignore him hoping he wouldn't notice that I was sitting next to him again.

It continued like this till lunch. Finally it was lunch time and I was starving. Zach being his usually talkative self talked the entire lunch while all I could think about was the guy. He had such an impact on me but I didn't know why.

Lunch was over and I was able to lose Zach and go to the next class early, which was a mistake cause there he was again in the class before me. I don't know how he did that I was sure I left early than everyone else but he still got there before me.

I decided again to sit and ignore him but that wasn't happining this time cause he turned to me and asked me my name. I was taken back by the question thinking why does he care.

"Why do you care?" I said with an annoyed tone.

"I don't know I was just wondering dude, my names Axel by the way" he said.

"Well Axel my names Ray" I said. I guess the guy has a name. I was about to ask why he was so mean yesterday but people started walking in so I decided against it.

Zach ran up to me and said "dude where did you go, you just disappeared after lunch I thought you got sick or something" "I'm fine I just like to get to class early that's all" I said before he sat down and the teacher walked in.

The rest of the day was pretty boring so I just put in a small earbud and zoned out for most of the classes.

I was walking home when I saw Axel again. This time inside of me running into him he ran into me so I decided to do to him what he did to me and yell at him "how dare you run into me I almost fell over" I guess he didn't like that cause he pushed me to the ground and just stood there staring at me and I looked at him dumbfounded. He finally walked off and I got up just going home ignore what just happened.

I was so confused about today. But when I walked in the house my sister ran up to me and I picked her up. "Brother guess what?" "What" I said "I made a friend and she lives in town and we want to have a play date sometime next week" "I'm so happy for you Brittany" I said.

After dinner I went to my room and finished up my homework and scrolled through tic tok.

That night I couldn't fall asleep till like 3 in the morning so I could only sleep for like 3 and a half hours.
