Chapter 1 We Are From Two Different Worlds

(This has just been sitting on my laptop for a few weeks, I've already written about 4 chapters and I hope you all enjoy it, I am also still working on finishing my Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy story so this story will be updated kinda slowly as I'm still working on my Halivy fanfic and this one too so bare with me. But enough of me I hope you guys enjoy my first Choni fanfic)

Cheryl Blossom was always cold and rarely let anyone in, nobody saw her vulnerable nobody saw her cry not even shed a tear nobody except her twin Jason. Cheryl was the only girl out of her siblings, she had two brothers the oldest was Julian, and then Jason her twin and her best friend, she was the oldest out of the two by 2 minutes not that it really mattered I mean in her parent's eyes she didn't even exist it was all about the boys and Cheryl was just there because nobody had a chose. The only reason Cheryl hadn't run away from home yet was because of Jason. But Cheryl had gotten good at hiding her pain behind a smile. Luckily she had plenty to distract her away from home, she had school and her vixens and was also the student body president. So it was easy for her to push her feelings and emotions down because she had work to do, that is until she goes home, her parents always find something to bother her with every single time, no matter what Cheryl did she was never good enough for her parents. So Cheryl just gave up trying to win her parent's love.

It was Monday morning and Cheryl had woken up much earlier than usual because she wanted to go for a jog to clear her mind before school, it was going to be a busy day she had a couple of spots left on her cheerleading team so she was holding tryouts to see if she could find a good fit. It was always a drag for her though because most of the time the girls would just fail and run out crying. It took confidence to be a vixen and a lot of girls lack the confidence because of the expectations society had on young girls. Well, it was the 50s after all women were shamed for having any desires or urges before marriage yet boys could be as sexual as they wanted without being shamed. It was all fucked up but that's how things are right now. Cheryl never shamed anyone and she was chill with pretty much anyone whether they were black or white or straight or gay it didn't matter to her. However, her family had very different views and Julian was also very similar to their parents but Jason was like Cheryl none of that mattered to him either.

Cheryl was pulled out of her thoughts by her brother Jason calling her. "Cheryl where are you going" Jason called after her following her outside to the big yard in the front of their home. "Sorry JJ I'm just heading for a quick jog before I get ready for school.. would you like to join me?" Cheryl looked back at her brother who was already by her side. "Yeah sure I could use a quick warm up got a game later" he replied his tone soft as the two twins headed out for a jog.

After about 20 minutes Cheryl and Jason made It back in time to get ready for school, they walked inside to be met by both their parents who stood glaring mostly at Cheryl.

"Where did you two go.. oh my god get some better clothes on you are showing way too much skin" Cheryl's Mom yelled at her which Cheryl just rolled her eyes at before heading back up to her room to get ready for school.

"We just went for a quick jog Mother I have a game later remember and Cheryl is cheering so she just wanted to get in a quick warm up" Jason explained sweetly to both his parents. "Anyway son we have some good news" his dad perked up. Jason just looked back at his dad before he spoke again. "Oh, what news?" Jason finally heard himself say. "Tonight at the game we have a couple of people stopping by to check out some talented players, they are offering an insane scholarship at Yale your dream college" his dad explained smiling. "Oh okay, that's swell" Jason's tone wasn't very convincing though neither of his parents noticed. Then he headed upstairs to get ready for school too.

Cheryl was finally ready she decided on her usual long red and white dress with her red coat over the top some light makeup and her usual red shoes. She decided to wear her hair down today, she made her way back down the stairs where Jason was waiting to give her a ride to school, they always traveled to school together and Julian would just take his car on his own and meet the two at school. "Ready Cher?" Jason called out smiling at his sister before holding the door open for her and the two made their way to school the usually 20-minute drive.

Meanwhile, on the south side Toni was just pulling herself out of bed, she had another rough night trying to cram in as much work as she could for her classes tomorrow. She heard her roommate call her from the main living area in their shared trailer, Jughead was sweet enough to let Toni move in with him after her parents kicked her out after finding her with her neighbor and they weren't just talking. It was scary and she tried her best not to let her thoughts go back to that awful night. Jughead's dad left unexpectedly two years ago after a break-in went to shit and Jughead hadn't heard from him since that point on, he was lucky to still have the trailer he lived in with his dad and it wasn't too expensive considering Toni paid him some rent, though he didn't want her to but Toni insisted. "Toni come on we are running late again" Toni stood up putting on some jeans and a white blouse and finishing her look off with her serpent jacket she had her hair down and some boots to finish off her look, it never usually took long for her to get ready. "I'll meet you guys there" Toni called back out to where Jughead and his girlfriend Tabitha were before they both headed out hoping on Jughead's bike and setting off on their usual 10-minute trip to school. Tabitha had left home after her parents warned her that it was either them or her white boyfriend. She understood her parent's concerns but she loved Jughead he loved her and protected her he was nothing like most white folk so she chose him. She hoped that eventually, her parents would accept her relationship with Jughead.

Toni walked into the small bathroom rinsing her face to try and wake herself up, she was exhausted these past few nights had been rough she hadn't gotten much sleep. But after straightening her back out she headed out locking the trailer before hopping on her bike to make her way to school as well, she would no doubt catch up to Tabitha and Jughead and her first class wasn't for another 20 minutes so she should make it just on time. She parked up in record time before meeting up with her other serpent friends, Fangs, Sweet Pea, Storm, and Peaches as well as Jughead who was already there. "Hey, where's Tabitha?" Toni heard herself say, "She needed to speak to Cheryl about some club she is hoping to start?' Jughead replied as the group walked into school. "What class do you have first" Fangs asked Toni who looked up before she replied, "History time to learn about white folk and shit.." Toni felt herself tense up black history was never talked about and it made Toni angry every time just how racist and terrible the world was and there was nothing anyone could do but try and fight for more rights. Suddenly her thoughts were lost and she locked eyes with a specific redhead who was talking to Tabitha. She felt her heart start to beat fast her nerves coming in full force she always got this way whenever Cheryl would notice her or would just exist. Toni couldn't take her eyes off Cheryl of course her friends noticed straight and already began to tease her.

"You are making it so obvious that you want to taste that cherry" Lizzo's voice came out a almost whisper and Toni just rolled her eyes, this girl was obsessed with Toni though Toni made it clear over and over again that she wasn't interested in the girl it didn't stop Lizzo trying. "Whatever you say" Toni simply replied before making her way to her locker and opening it she put her stuff in and just grabbed the books needed for her first class. "You okay T" she heard Sweet Pea ask Toni closed her locker before she spoke "Yeah I'm fine sweets" Her tone was quiet and Sweet Pea knew that something was on the girl's mind. "Is this about that stunning redhead you've been eying for the past month" his tone teasing before grabbing his own books from his locker and walking beside the smaller girl? "Sweets you know damn well I can't talk to her" She took a deep breath waiting for him to reply, "Why not" Sweet Pea heard himself ask. "Because she is white and rich and I doubt she would even give me any time of day plus I am pretty sure she is straight" Toni's tone was tired she was already tired of being here she wanted to go back home and just sleep. She was overwhelmed and tired. "Whatever you say, T, ill see you at lunch," Sweet Pea said his goodbyes and Toni finally made it to her first class, taking a seat next to Tabitha like she always does. "Hey Tabitha" Toni leaned over to whisper to the other girl who replied straight away "Yes?" Tabitha sounded tired too pretty sure she didn't wanna be here as well. "How come you were talking to Cheryl?" She heard herself ask. "I will tell you after class I am setting a meet-up with the serpents and Clay it's in the lounge, can you meet us there at lunch?" Tabitha asked which Toni replied with a simple Yeah. She had no idea what Tabitha had planned but it would mostly make a big change here in Riverdale.
