(Dipper pov)

Bill hugs me tightly before letting go, holding my face in his hands. "You truly are the most amazing person I've ever met, Pinetree." He kisses my forehead softly before letting go. His skin feels cold against mine, but that won't be much of a problem for much longer after all.

"Let's do this the right way."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean we go to the land of the living, do it in the town church. Fiddleford here can ordain, we can have every dead and living person there to see it. We'll have me go out with a big bang."

"That sounds amazing. Come on, let's tell everyone."

He takes my hand as we go to the center of town, climbing up on a big horse statue. I whistle loudly to get everyone's attention.

"We're going to do this wedding right and take it upstairs. So everyone get everything you need and let's head out."

Everyone seems to be happy and joyous as they go gathering their things. Bill jumps off the statue back onto the ground and catches me as I jump off. He sets me onto my feet on the ground.

"I gotta go get ready, but I'll be back soon Pinetree."

He walks off leaving me there.

"You can't go in that." I look at a spider on my arm. "Your suit is all torn up. Just hold still."

More black widow spiders crawl on me, using their webs to sew up the rips in my suit. I hate spiders so this is torture for me.

They finally get off of me as I see Bill come back, his suit all patched up good as new as well and the eyepatch back over his right eye socket. He has a blue rose pinned to his suit and pins a yellow one to my suit.

As everyone gathers in the townsquare, Fiddleford takes out his big book reading something from it. A swarm of crows surround us and when they're gone we're in the townsquare of the land of the living. At first the people who see the dead are terrified, until they see those that they have lost.

Everyone heads to the church, Bill standing with Fiddleford at the alter as everyone takes their seats. Taking a deep breath in I slowly make my way down the aisle to the alter. He holds his hand out to me and I take it as I stop in front of the alter. The last time I was here, I was terrified. Terrified of being forced into something that I never wanted. But this time I'm not scared at all. I'm actually happy.

On the table is the wine glass. I see Fiddlford pour his bottle of posion into both the glasses. It won't do anything to Bill, it's just for me. I feel Waddles rub against my leg.

Taking a deep breaht in and out I start my vows, that ones I had practiced so hard. I did them right before, I can do them right again.

"With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup shall never be empty, for I shall be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way through darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine."

Bill smiles before he starts his vows. "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup shall never be empty for I.....I shall be...."

"I shall be your wine." I finish for him as I pick up my cup and go to drink it. He puts his hand on the top of the cup pushing it back down to the table again. I look up at him confused but it's like he's looking at something behind me. "Bill? What's wrong?" I go to turn around but he holds my face in his hands making me look at him. I see tears in his eye.

"This is wrong. It's so so wrong and it's all my fault that it's wrong."

"Bill, I-"

"I love you, Dipper. I will always love you. You doing this for me has made me happier than anything else in the world. I had a chance for happiness like this once. And it was robbed of me. So I spent so long trying to have that moment again, but in the process I am robbing someone else's chance for that moment. Robbing her of the happiest moment in her life."

He lets go and I follow his gaze to Pacifica lingering in the back of the church. She wears a long and beautiful wedding gown, her curled blonde hair flowing over her shoulders and the veil out of her face.

"Pacifica...."

She slowly walks up to the alter. "I thought you were married, Dipper."

"I heard you were too."

Pacifica holds up her hand showing her wedding ring.

"Wait a minute..." Bill mutters. He gently grabs her wrist to look at the ring better before letting go. "That is my ring."

"Bill, what are you talking about?" I ask him.

"The night I died. I had stolen my father's watch and money, my mother's jewelry, and both of their wedding rings. The jewels and the infinity symbols engraved in them, I recognize those. They were a family heirloom. I was wearing my father's ring, my mother's was in my pocket with everything else. But they were stolen from me when I died."

A slow clap gets everyone's attention, a man with bleach blond hair coming down the Aisle. I recognize him as Gideon, Pacifica's family's lawer. He's older than us both by quite a bit, a scar going down his right eye.

"I just love happy endings." He says. I hate the look on his face. "But there is one thing that you are forgetting." He harshly grabs Pacifica's arm pulling her back to him. "She is still my wife!"

"Let me go let me go!" She screams, trying to pry his arm off of her.

"Hey-" I go to help when Bill puts a hand on my chest, pushing me back slightly.

"You....." He mutters. Gideon looks at him, recognition washing over him.

"Bill, you're..."

"You! You asshole!" Bill clenches his fists tightly.

"I left you...."

"Yeah, you fucking left me alright. Left me for fucking dead!"
