It's been a week since the party. After our kiss, Anastasia muttered something and left. I haven't seen her since. I've spent every day thinking about that kiss. Longing for more. The electricity when our skin touched. The smell of apples in her hair. I won't lie, I've definitely had some dreams.
Thankfully, my next class is the one we have together. When I walked in, she's sitting in the back. I slide into the seat next to her. "Did you finish Reqium yet?"
"Oh, yes, yesterday, actually. Thanks for not spoiling the end for me." Her cheeks start to turn red, and my body tingles a little.
I can no longer contain myself. I have to have her. "Can I take you on a date tonight?"
She seems a little startled. "Me? I mean, I have a lot of work to do."
"It'll be fun, and I promise to have you back at a decent time."
"S-sure." She looks down, fidgeting with her hands.
"I'll pick you up at 6." I can already tell today is going to drag on.
Matt shoves my arm, "So, are you going to finally get some tonight?"
"Don't you have somewhere to be?" I ask him. Only one more hour. I really want to just go knock on her door now.
Finally, I give up being patient and walk to her room. After standing there like a weirdo for ten minutes, I decide it's close enough and knock.
"Coming!" Someone yells. That's definitely not Anastasia. I've barely heard her get above a whisper. Must be her sister.
"Ooo, Stacia has good taste in men, apparently." She says as she puts her hand on my chest.
"Wren, please." Anastasia walks up already looking embarrassed, and I have to resist the urge to kiss her right now.
"Wow, you look amazing, Anastasia."
She's wearing jeans and a band tee of a band I've never heard of. But she'd probably look great in anything. Or nothing at all.
"Thank you, so do you. Do you mind if I ask where we're going tonight?"
"It's a surprise, but I promise you'll love it. After you." I gesture my hand out the door, and I can barely contain my excitement.
"Have fun! Don't murder her, please. Oh, and make sure to use a condom!" Wren yells out as we walk away.
